ପୁରୁଷ କମ୍ପାଉଣ୍ଡ ଦଳ ଆମେପିରାରକୁ 236-232 ବ୍ୟବଧାନରେ ପରାସ୍ତ କରି ଶୀର୍ଷ ସ୍ଥାନ ଅଧିକାର କରିଥିଲେ । ସେହିପରି ମହିଳା କମ୍ପାଉଣ୍ଡ ଦଳ 234-233 ମାତ୍ର ଏକ ପଏଣ୍ଟ ବ୍ୟବଧାନରେ ମେକ୍ସିକୋ ଦଳକୁ ପରାସ୍ତ କରି ସ୍ବର୍ଣ୍ଣ ପଦକ ହାସଲ କରିଛନ୍ତି । 2006 ପରେ ପ୍ରଥମ ଥର ପାଇଁ ଭାରତୀୟ ପୁରୁଷ ଓ ମହିଳା ଦଳ ଏଭଳି ଐତିହାସିକ ସଫଳତା ଅର୍ଜନ କରିଛନ୍ତି । ତୀରନ୍ଦାଜୀ ବିଶ୍ବକପ ଷ୍ଟେଜ 4 ପଞ୍ଚମ ଦିବସରେ ଭାରତକୁ 2ଟି ସ୍ବର୍ଣ୍ଣ ସହ ମୋଟ 3ଟି ପଦକ ମିଳିଛି । ଭାରତୀୟ ମହିଳା ଓ ପୁରୁଷ ଦଳ ସ୍ବର୍ଣ୍ଣ ଜିତିଥିବା ବେଳେ ବ୍ୟକ୍ତିଗତ ଇଭେଣ୍ଟରେ ସୁରେଖା କାଂସ୍ୟ ପଦକ ଜିତିଛନ୍ତି ।

ପୂର୍ବରୁ ଭାରତୀୟ ପୁରୁଷ ଓ ମହିଳା ରିକର୍ଭ ଦଳ କାଂସ୍ୟ ପଦକ ଜିତି ବିଜୟ ଖାତା ଖୋଲିଥିଲେ । ଅତନୁ ଦାସ, ଧୀରଜ ବୋମଦେବରା ଓ ତୁଷାର ସେଲଫକେ ପୁରୁଷ ତୀରନ୍ଦାଜୀ କାଂସ୍ୟ ପଦକ ମୁକାବିଲାରେ ସ୍ପେନକୁ 6-2 ବ୍ୟବଧାନରେ ପରାସ୍ତ କରିଥିଲେ । ସେହିପରି ଭଜନ କୌର, ଅଙ୍କିତା ଭକତ ଓ ସିମଲନଜିତ କୌରଙ୍କୁ ନେଇ ଗଠିତ ଭାରତୀୟ ମହିଳା ଦଳ ସୁଟରେ ମେକ୍ସିକୋକୁ ପରାସ୍ତ କରିଥିଲା ।

ଚତୁର୍ଥ ସେଟରେ ଶେଷରେ ଶେଷ ମୁକାବିଲାରେ 4-4 ବରାବର ସ୍ଥିତିରେ ରହିଥିଲା । 2024 ଅଲମ୍ପିକ୍ସ ପାଇଁ କୋଟା ସ୍ଥାନ ହାସଲ କରିବାରେ ଦୁଇ ଦଳ ବିଫଳ ହୋଇଛନ୍ତି । ନିକଟରେ କଲୋମ୍ବିଆରେ ଚାଲିଥିବା ତୀରନ୍ଦାଜୀ ବିଶ୍ବକପରେ ଆଦିତି ମହିଳା କମ୍ପାଉଣ୍ଡ ଯୋଗ୍ୟତା ବର୍ଗରେ ବିଶ୍ବ ରେକର୍ଡ କରିଥିଲେ । ମହିଳା କମ୍ପାଉଣ୍ଡ ଯୋଗ୍ୟତା ରାଉଣ୍ଡରେ 720ରୁ 711 ପଏଣ୍ଟ ସଂଗ୍ରହ କରି ପ୍ରଥମ ସ୍ଥାନ ସହ 18 ବର୍ଷରୁ କମ ବର୍ଗରେ ନୂଆ ରେକର୍ଡ ପ୍ରତିଷ୍ଠା କରିଥିଲେ । ଏହା ସହିତ ଆମେରିକାର ଲିକୋ ଆରୋଓଲାଙ୍କ (705 ପଏଣ୍ଟ) ବିଶ୍ବ ରେକର୍ଡ ଭାଙ୍ଗିଥିଲେ ।
