ପୋର୍ଟବ୍ଲେୟାର: ଆଣ୍ଡାମାନ ନିକୋବର ରାଜଧାନୀ ପୋର୍ଟବ୍ଲେୟାରରେ ଭୂକମ୍ପର ଝଟକା ଅନୁଭୂତ ହୋଇଛି । ଆଜି ସକାଳ ପ୍ରାୟ 5:57 ମିନିଟ ସମୟରେ ଏହି ଭୂକମ୍ପ ହୋଇଥିବା ଜାତୀୟ ଭୂକମ୍ପ କେନ୍ଦ୍ର (National Center for Seismology) ପକ୍ଷରୁ ସୂଚନା ମିଳିଛି । ଭୂକମ୍ପର ତୀବ୍ରତା ରିକ୍ଟର ସ୍କେଲରେ 5.0 ରହିଥିବା ମଧ୍ୟ ସୂଚନା ଦେଇଛି ଭୂକମ୍ପ କେନ୍ଦ୍ର । ତେବେ କ୍ଷୟକ୍ଷତି ନେଇ କୌଣସି ସୂଚନା ମିଳିନାହିଁ ।

ଏହି ଭୂକମ୍ପର କେନ୍ଦ୍ରସ୍ଥଳ ପୋର୍ଟବ୍ଲେୟାରର 215 କିମି ପୂର୍ବ-ଦକ୍ଷିଣ -ପୂର୍ବ (215 km ESE)ରେ ରହିଛି । ଏହା ସମୁଦ୍ର ପତନରୁ ପ୍ରାୟ 44 କି.ମି ଗଭୀରରେ ସୃଷ୍ଟି ହୋଇଛି । ଏହା ଏକ ମୃଦୁ ଭୂକମ୍ପ ବୋଲି ଜଣାପଡିଛି । ପରବର୍ତ୍ତୀ ସୁନାମି ନେଇ ମଧ୍ୟ କିଛି ସତର୍କ ସୂଚନା ଜାରି କରାଯାଇନାହିଁ ।
