ଗାନ୍ଧି ନଗର ଲୋକସଭା କ୍ଷେତ୍ର ଅଧୀନରେ ଆସୁଥିବା ପଟିଦାର ବହୁଳ ଆସନ ଘାଟଲୋଡିଆ ବିଧାନସଭା ନିର୍ବାଚନ ମଣ୍ଡଳୀରୁ ପ୍ରତିଦ୍ବନ୍ଦ୍ବିତା କରି ବିଜୟୀ ହୋଇଛନ୍ତି ଭୂପେନ୍ଦ୍ର ପଟେଲ । 2017ରେ ମଧ୍ୟ ସେ ଏହି ଆସନରେ ପ୍ରଥମ ନିର୍ବାଚନ ଲଢି ବିଧାୟକ ଭାବେ ନିର୍ବାଚିତ ହୋଇଥିଲେ । ଗତ ନିର୍ବାଚନରେ ତାଙ୍କର ବ୍ୟବଧାନ ଥିଲା ପ୍ରାୟ 1ଲକ୍ଷ 17ହଜାର ଭୋଟ । ପ୍ରଥମ ଥର ନିର୍ବାଚିତ ହୋଇଥିବା ସତ୍ତ୍ବେ ମଧ୍ୟ 2021 ସେପ୍ଟେମ୍ବରରେ ବିଜୟ ରୁପାନୀଙ୍କୁ ହଟାଇ ଭୂପେନ୍ଦ୍ର ପଟେଲଙ୍କୁ ମୁଖ୍ୟମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ କରିଥିଲା ଦଳ । ତେବେ ଚଳିତ ନିର୍ବାଚନରେ ସେ ଦ୍ବିତୀୟ ଥର ନିର୍ବାଚନ ଲଢୁଥିବା ବେଳେ ଚଳିତ ଥର ମଧ୍ୟ ସେ ହିଁ ମୁଖ୍ୟମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ହେବା ନେଇ ଦଳ ଘୋଷଣା କରିସାରିଥିଲା । ଆଜି ରାଜ୍ୟରେ ଦଳ ଐତିହାସିକ ବିଜୟ ଲାଭ କରିବା ସହ ପଟେଲ 2.0 ସରକାର ଆରମ୍ଭ ହେବାକୁ ଯାଉଛି ।
