नवी दिल्ली - भारताची स्टार महिला नेमबाजपटू मनू भाकेरला दिल्ली विमानतळावर अपमानजनक वागणुकीला तोंड द्यावे लागले आहे. सर्व कागदपत्रे असतानादेखील मनुला एअर इंडियाच्या विमानात बसू दिले नाही. उलट, तिच्याकडून १०,२०० रुपये मागण्यात आले. मनू दिल्लीहून भोपाळला प्रशिक्षणाला जात होती, तेव्हा हा प्रकार घडला.
एअर इंडियाच्या अधिकाऱ्यांनी मनुला विमानात चढण्यापासून रोखले. शुटिंग बंदूक संबंधित कागदपत्रे असूनही या अधिकाऱ्यांनी गैरवर्तन केले आणि १०,२०० रुपये मागितले आणि एअर इंडियाचे अधिकारी मनोज गुप्ता आणि इतर कर्मचार्‍यांनी अपमान केला, असा आरोप मनुने केला आहे. त्यानंतर मनुने सलग पाच ट्विट करत त्यात पंतप्रधान मोदी, अमित शाह, हरदीपसिंग पुरी, डीजीसीए यांना टॅग केले.

काही वेळानंतर क्रीडामंत्री किरेन रिजिजू यांच्या हस्तक्षेपानंतर मनुला विमानात चढण्याची परवानगी देण्यात आली. यानंतर थोड्याच वेळात मनुने ट्विट करुन क्रीडामंत्र्यांचे आभार मानले. मनू भाकेर तुम्ही भारताचा गौरव आहात, असे रिजिजू यांनी उत्तरात म्हटले.
