मुंबई - भारत आणि इंग्लंड यांच्यातील उपांत्य फेरीचा सामना पावसामुळे रद्द झाला. भारताने अ गटात ८ गुणांसह अव्वल स्थान पटकावले होते आणि याच जोरावर हरमनप्रीतच्या नेतृत्वात खेळणाऱ्या भारतीय संघाने अंतिम फेरीतील प्रवेश पक्का केला. भारतीय संघाच्या अंतिम प्रवेशानंतर कौतुकाचा वर्षाव होत आहे.

'उपांत्य फेरीचा सामना झाला असता, तर पाहायला आवडले असते, परंतु देवासमोर कोण जिंकू शकतं? मेहनतीचे फळ मिळते. अ गटातील सर्व सामने जिंकल्याचा फायदा भारतीय संघाला झाला. त्यांचे खूप खूप अभिनंदन.'
