लाऊड स्पीकरवरुन अजान देणे बंद झाले पाहिजे - जावेद अख्तर

बॉलिवूडचे प्रसिध्द गीतकार जावेद अख्तर यांनी लाऊड स्पीकरवरुन अजान देण्याच्या प्रथेला विरोध केला आहे. त्यांनी ट्विट करुन याबद्दल आपले मत व्यक्त केले. मात्र अनेकांनी त्यांच्यावर टीकास्त्र सोडले आहे.

मुंबई - बॉलिवूडचे ख्यातनाम गीतकार आणि पटकथा लेखक जावेद अख्तर यांनी लाऊड स्पीकरवरुन अजान देण्याबाबत केलेल्या विधानामुळे नव्या वादाला जन्म मिळाला आहे. स्पीकरवरुन अजान देणे बंद केले पाहिजे. यामुळे लोकांना त्रास होतो, असे मत जावेद अख्तर यांनी व्यक्त केले आहे.

जावेद अख्तर यांनी ट्विटमध्ये लिहिलंय, ''भारतात जवळपास ५० वर्षापर्यंत लाऊड स्पीकरवरुन अजान देणे हराम होते. त्यानंतर ते हलाल झाले आणि अशा प्रकारे हलाल झाली की त्याला कोणतीच सीमा नाही राहिली. अजान करणे ठिक आहे परंतु लाऊड स्पीकरवर हे करणे दुसऱ्यांसाठी अडचणीचे ठरते. यावेळी ते स्वतः करतील अशी अपेक्षा मी ठेवतो.''

या ट्विटनंतर जावेद अख्तर यांच्यावर ट्रोलर्सनी जोरदार हल्ला चढवला. सोशल मीडियावर ते वेगाने ट्रोल होत आहेत. एका युजरने कॉमेंटमध्ये लिहिलंय, ''लाऊड स्पीकरवरुन अजान बंद करण्याची भाषा करुन तुम्ही आपला सेक्यूलरीझम सिध्द करण्याची गरज नाही. बॅन करायचा असेल तर लाऊड स्पीकर पूर्णपणे बॅन केला पाहिजे. मग ते गणेश चतुर्थी असो की, रविवारी किंवा अन्य धार्मिक कार्यक्रमात. व्हिआयपी लग्नात होणाऱ्या आवाजालाही विसरता कामा नये.''

युजरला उत्तर देताना जावेद अख्तर यांनी लिहिलंय, ''ज्या इस्लामिक विद्वांनांनी पन्नास वर्षापर्यंत लाऊड स्पीकरला हराम ठरवले होते ते चुकीचे होते असे म्हणायचे आहे का तुम्हाला. ते काय म्हणत होते हे त्यांना कळत नव्हते असे म्हणायचे आहे का तुम्हाला? जर तुम्हाला खात्री असेल तर तसे एकदा म्हणा. त्यानंतर मी तुम्हाला त्या विद्वानांची नावेही सांगतो.''

बॉलिवूड गायक सोनू निगमने लाऊड स्पीकरवरील अजानला विरोध केला होता. सोनूच्या ट्विटनंतर त्याच्यावर टीका झाली होती. एक वर्षानंतर जावेद अख्तर यांनी सोनूच्या समर्थनार्थ लिहिले होते, ''मशिदींवरील लाऊड स्पीकर नसायला पाहिजेत हे मानणाऱ्या सोनू निगमसह सर्वांशी मी सहमत आहे. मशिदच नव्हे तर सहिवासी असलेल्या परिसरातील कोणत्याही धार्मिक स्थळांवर स्पीकर असून नयेत.''

This is to put on record that I totally agree with all those including Sonu Nigam who want that Loud speakers should not be used by the mosques and for that matter by any place of worship in residential areas .
