कंगनाच्या या आवडत्या द न्यूयॉर्क फिल्म अकॅडमीनेही आपल्या आवडत्या विद्यार्थीनीचे कौतुक केले आहे. फिल्म अकादमीने कंगनाचे ट्विट पुन्हा शेअर केले आणि लिहिले की 'क्वीन' पुढे काय करते हे पाहण्यासाठी अकादमी अधिक प्रतीक्षा करू शकत नाही. कंगानाच्या आगामी प्रकल्पांबद्दल बोलायचे तर अभिनेत्रीने तिच्या महत्वाकांक्षी प्रकल्प 'इमर्जन्सी' चे शूट पूर्ण केले आहे. हा तिचा दुसरे बायोपिक असेल ज्यात अभिनेत्री कंगनाने माजी पंतप्रधान इंदिरा गांधी यांची भूमिका साकारली आहे.
कंगना रणौत हिने अलिकडेच तामिळनाडूच्या माजी मुख्यमंत्री जयललिता यांच्या बायोपिकमध्ये मुख्य भूमिका साकारली होती. पूर्वाश्रमी चित्रपटात नायिका असलेल्या जयललिता यांनी मुख्यमंत्रीपदापर्यंतचा खडतर प्रवास केला होता. यातील अनेक बारकावे यानिमित्ताने कंगनाने अवगत केले होते. चित्रपटात नायिका असताना जयललिता या सडपातळ शरीराच्या होत्या. वय वाढल्यानंतर त्यांच्यात मोठा बदल झाला व त्या जाड बनल्या होत्या. हे सर्व बॉडी ट्रान्सफॉर्मेशन कंगनाने तलयवा या बायोपिकमध्ये दाखवले आहेत. यासाठी तिने भरपूर मेहनत घेतली होती.
