नवी दिल्ली - भारतीय वायुसेनेचे (IAF) चीफ एअर चीफ मार्शल बी एस धनोआ आणि विंग कमांडर अभिनंदन वर्धमान यांनी सोमवारी मिग-21 हे लढाऊ विमान संयुक्तपणे चालवले. पठाणकोट येथील लष्करी हवाई अड्ड्यावरून त्यांच्या विमानाने भरारी घेतली.

भारतीय वायुसेना प्रमुख हे देखील मिग -21 चे चालक आहेत. त्यांनी 1999 च्या कारगिल युद्धाच्या वेळी 17 व्या पथकाचे नेतृत्व करताना विमाने उडविली होती. मात्र लढाऊ विमानात प्रवास करण्यासाठी धानोआ यांनी सोमवारी घेतलेली शेवटची भरारी होती.
