नवी दिल्ली - जवाहरलाल नेहरु विद्यापीठ कॅम्पसमध्ये गेल्या आठवड्यात झालेल्या हिंसाचाराच्या संदर्भात कुलगुरू एम. जगदीश कुमार यांनी रविवारी पुन्हा एकदा आपली बाजू मांडली. 'जे व्हायचे होते ते झाले. त्यामुळे सर्व काही विसरून जाऊ', असे कुमार म्हणाले.

'विद्यापीठात जे काही घटना घडल्या त्या विसरून आता आपण पुढे जायला हवे. आम्ही कुणावरच आरोप करत नसून विद्यापीठाचे कामकाज सुरळीत चालावे, हेच आमच्यासाठी महत्त्वाचे आहे', असे कुमार म्हणाले.दरम्यान विद्यापीठात गेल्या 70 दिवसांपासून दैनंदिन शैक्षणिक उपक्रम बंद आहेत. कुलगुरुंनी हा पेचप्रसंग सोडविण्यासाठी कोणतेही गंभीर प्रयत्न केलेले नाहीत. चेहरे झाकलेल्या जमावाने जवाहरलाल नेहरू विद्यापीठातील विद्यार्थी व शिक्षक यांच्यावर हल्ला केल्यानंतर विद्यापीठाचे कुलगुरू एम. जगदीश कुमार यांना हटवण्यात यावे, अशी मागणी विद्यापीठाच्या शिक्षक संघटना आणि विद्यार्थ्यांनी केली आहे.

दरम्यान विद्यापीठात गेल्या 70 दिवसांपासून दैनंदिन शैक्षणिक उपक्रम बंद आहेत. कुलगुरुंनी हा पेचप्रसंग सोडविण्यासाठी कोणतेही गंभीर प्रयत्न केलेले नाहीत. चेहरे झाकलेल्या जमावाने जवाहरलाल नेहरू विद्यापीठातील विद्यार्थी व शिक्षक यांच्यावर हल्ला केल्यानंतर विद्यापीठाचे कुलगुरू एम. जगदीश कुमार यांना हटवण्यात यावे, अशी मागणी विद्यापीठाच्या शिक्षक संघटना आणि विद्यार्थ्यांनी केली आहे.
