ചെന്നൈയിൻ എഫ്.സിക്കെതിരായ മത്സരത്തില്‍ നടത്തിയ തകർപ്പൻ സേവാണ് ധീരജിനെ പുരസ്ക്കാരത്തിന് അർഹനാക്കിയത്.

കഴിഞ്ഞ ഐഎസ്എൽ സീസണിലെ ഏറ്റവും മികച്ച സേവ് ആയി കേരള ബ്ലാസ്റ്റേഴ്‌സ് ഗോള്‍ കീപ്പർ ധീരജ് സിംഗിന്‍റെ സേവ് തെരഞ്ഞെടുത്തു. ചെന്നൈയിൻ എഫ്.സിക്കെതിരായ മത്സരത്തില്‍ മൈല്‍സണ്‍ ആല്‍വേസിന്‍റെ ഹെഡര്‍ അവിശ്വസനീയമായി തട്ടികളഞ്ഞ സേവിനാണ് പുരസ്ക്കാരം ലഭിച്ചത്. ആരാധകരുടെ വോട്ടിംഗിന്‍റെ പിന്‍ബലത്തിലാണ് ധീരജ് സിംഗ് നടത്തിയ തകർപ്പൻ സേവ് പുരസ്ക്കാരത്തിന് തെരഞ്ഞെടുക്കപ്പെട്ടത്. കഴിഞ്ഞ ദിവസം ഐഎസ്എല്‍ സീസണിലെ ഏറ്റവും മികച്ച ഗോളിനുള്ള പുരസ്‌ക്കാരവും കേരള ബ്ലാസ്റ്റേഴ്‌സ് താരം പെകുസണ്‍ സ്വന്തമാക്കിയിരുന്നു. ബെംഗളൂരുവിനെതിരെ നേടിയ ലോങ്ങ് റേഞ്ചര്‍ ഗോളാണ് പെകുസണ് അവാര്‍ഡ് നേടി കൊടുത്തത്.
