രാജസ്ഥാന്‍റെ ഓപ്പണർമാർ ചേർന്ന് ആദ്യ വിക്കറ്റിൽ 70 റണ്‍സിന്‍റെ കൂട്ടുകെട്ട് ഉണ്ടാക്കിയെങ്കിലും പിന്നീട് ടീം തകരുകയായിരുന്നു

ദുബായ്‌ : രാജസ്ഥാൻ റോയൽസിനെതിരായ മത്സരത്തിൽ റോയൽ ചലഞ്ചേഴ്‌സ് ബാംഗ്ലൂരിന് 150 റണ്‍സ് വിജയ ലക്ഷ്യം. ടോസ് നഷ്ടപ്പെട്ട് ബാറ്റിങ്ങിനിറങ്ങിയ രാജസ്ഥാന് ഓപ്പണർമാർ മിന്നുന്ന തുടക്കം നൽകിയെങ്കിലും അത് മുതലാക്കി സ്കോർ വർധിപ്പിക്കാൻ പിന്നീട് വന്ന ബാറ്റർമാർക്ക് സാധിച്ചില്ല.

ഓപ്പണർമാരായ എവിൻ ലൂയിസിന്‍റെയും യശസ്വി ജയ്‌സ്വാളിന്‍റെയും മികവിലാണ് രാജസ്ഥാൻ മോശമല്ലാത്ത സ്കോറില്‍ എത്തിയത്. രാജസ്ഥാന് ഓപ്പണർമാരായ എവിൻ ലൂയിസും യശസ്വി ജയ്‌സ്വാളും ചേർന്ന് മികച്ച തുടക്കമാണ് നൽകിയത്.

ഇരുവരും ചേർന്ന ആദ്യ വിക്കറ്റിൽ എട്ട് ഓവറിൽ 70 റണ്‍സിന്‍റെ കൂട്ടുകെട്ടാണ് പടുത്തുയർത്തിയത്. ജയ്‌സ്വാൾ ഒരു വശത്ത് പ്രതിരോധിച്ച് കളിച്ചപ്പോൾ ലൂയിസ് ആക്രമിച്ച് കളിക്കുകയായിരുന്നു.

തകർന്നടിഞ്ഞ് രാജസ്ഥാൻ

അർധശതകം പിന്നിട്ടതിന് പിന്നാലെ ജോര്‍ജ് ഗാര്‍ട്ടൻ താരത്തെ പുറത്താക്കി. 37 പന്തിൽ 58 റണ്‍സ് നേടിയ ലൂയിസ് കീപ്പറിന് ക്യാച്ച് നൽകി മടങ്ങുകയായിരുന്നു. പിന്നീട് റോയൽസിന്‍റെ പതനമായിരുന്നു. ലൂയിസിന് പിന്നാലെ മൂന്ന് റണ്‍സ് നേടിയ മഹിപാല്‍ ലൊംറോറിനെ ചാഹൽ പുറത്താക്കി.

തൊട്ടടുത്ത ഓവറിലെ ആദ്യ പന്തിൽ തന്നെ കഴിഞ്ഞ മത്സരങ്ങളിൽ മിന്നും ഫോമിൽ കളിക്കുകയായിരുന്ന ക്യാപ്‌റ്റൻ സഞ്ജു സാംസണെ(15 ബോൾ 19 റണ്‍സ്), ശഹ്‌ബാസ് അഹമ്മദ് പുറത്താക്കി. അനാവശ്യ ഷോട്ടിന് ശ്രമിച്ച താരം ദേവ് ദത്ത് പടിക്കലിന് ക്യാച്ച് നൽകി മടങ്ങുകയായിരുന്നു. ആ ഓവറിൽ തന്നെ രാഹുല്‍ തെവാത്തിയെയും (2 റണ്‍സ്) ശഹ്‌ബാസ് അഹമ്മദ് പുറത്താക്കി.
