അഹമ്മദാബാദ് : ഐപിഎല്‍ പതിനാറാം പതിപ്പില്‍ കിരീടം നേടിയ ചെന്നൈ സൂപ്പര്‍ കിങ്‌സിന് പ്രശംസയുമായി നിരവധി പ്രമുഖര്‍ രംഗത്ത്. സച്ചിന്‍ ടെണ്ടുല്‍ക്കര്‍ ഗൗതം ഗംഭീര്‍, ടോം മൂഡി ഉള്‍പ്പടെ നിരവധി പേരാണ് ചെന്നൈയുടെ അഞ്ചാം കിരീട നേട്ടത്തില്‍ അഭിനന്ദനവുമായി രംഗത്തെത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നത്. അഹമ്മദാബാദിലെ നരേന്ദ്ര മോദി സ്റ്റേഡിയത്തില്‍ നടന്ന കലാശപ്പോരാട്ടത്തില്‍ ഗുജറാത്ത് ടൈറ്റന്‍സിനെ തോല്‍പ്പിച്ചാണ് എംഎസ് ധോണിക്ക് കീഴില്‍ ചെന്നൈ സൂപ്പര്‍ കിങ്‌സ് കിരീടം നേടിയത്.
മത്സരത്തില്‍ ആദ്യം ബാറ്റ് ചെയ്‌ത ഗുജറാത്ത് 214 റണ്‍സാണ് നേടിയത്. മറുപടി ബാറ്റിങ്ങിന്‍റെ ആദ്യ ഓവറില്‍ തന്നെ രസംകൊല്ലിയായി മഴയെത്തി. ഇതോടെ മണിക്കൂറുകള്‍ തടസപ്പെട്ട മത്സരം പിന്നീട് 15 ഓവറുകളാക്കി വെട്ടിച്ചുരുക്കിയാണ് പുനരാരംഭിച്ചത്.
