മുംബൈ : ഓസ്‌ട്രേലിയന്‍ വനിതകള്‍ക്കെതിരായ ടി20 പരമ്പരയിലെ രണ്ടാം മത്സരം സൂപ്പര്‍ ഓവറില്‍ സ്വന്തമാക്കി ഇന്ത്യന്‍ വനിത ക്രിക്കറ്റ് ടീം. സൂപ്പര്‍ ഓവറില്‍ നാല് റണ്‍സിനായിരുന്നു ഇന്ത്യയുടെ വിജയം. ഓസീസ് ഉയര്‍ത്തിയ 188 റണ്‍സ് വിജയലക്ഷ്യം പിന്തുടരവെ 49 പന്തില്‍ 79 റണ്‍സും സൂപ്പര്‍ ഓവറില്‍ 3 പന്തില്‍ 13 റണ്‍സും നേടിയ സ്‌മൃതി മന്ദാനയാണ് കളിയിലെ താരം.
ജയത്തോടെ അഞ്ച് മത്സരങ്ങളടങ്ങിയ പരമ്പരയില്‍ ഇന്ത്യ കങ്കാരുപ്പടയ്‌ക്കൊപ്പമെത്തി. 2022ല്‍ ഓസീസ് വനിത ടീമിന്‍റെ ആദ്യ ടി20 തോല്‍വിയാണിത്. ഓസ്‌ട്രേലിയ ഉയര്‍ത്തിയ കൂറ്റന്‍ വിജയലക്ഷ്യത്തിലേക്ക് ബാറ്റ് വീശിയ ഇന്ത്യക്കായി ഇന്നിങ്സ് ഓപ്പണ്‍ ചെയ്‌ത സ്‌മൃതി മന്ദാന, ഷെഫാലി വെര്‍മ സഖ്യം മികച്ച തുടക്കമാണ് നല്‍കിയത്.

ഇരുവരും പുറത്തായതിന് പിന്നാലെ കളിയുടെ നിയന്ത്രണം ഏറ്റെടുത്ത് സ്‌കോര്‍ ഉയര്‍ത്തിയത് റിച്ച ഘോഷ് ആണ്. ബൗണ്ടറികളും സിക്‌സുകളും പറത്തി താരം ഇന്ത്യക്ക് വിജയപ്രതീക്ഷ സമ്മാനിച്ചു. അതിനിടെ 2 റണ്‍സുമായി ദീപ്‌തി ശര്‍മ മടങ്ങിയിരുന്നു.

19ാം ഓവറില്‍ സ്‌കോര്‍ 170ല്‍ നില്‍ക്കെയാണ് ദീപ്‌തി പുറത്തായത്. ഇതോടെ അവസാന ഓവറില്‍ ജയം പിടിക്കാന്‍ ഇന്ത്യക്ക് 14 റണ്‍സാണ് വേണ്ടിയിരുന്നത്. ഓസ്‌ട്രേലിയക്ക് വേണ്ടി അവസാന ഓവര്‍ എറിയാനെത്തിയ മേഘന്‍ ഷൂട്ടിനെ സിംഗിള്‍ എടുത്താണ് റിച്ച ഘോഷ് വരവേറ്റത്.

നേരിട്ട ആദ്യ പന്ത് ബൗണ്ടറി പായിച്ച മന്ദാന തൊട്ടടുത്ത പന്തില്‍ ഹീതര്‍ ഗ്രഹാമിനെ അതിര്‍ത്തി കടത്തി. അവസാന പന്തില്‍ ഇരുവരും ചേര്‍ന്ന് മൂന്ന് റണ്‍സ് ഓടിയെടുത്തതോടെ സൂപ്പര്‍ ഓവറില്‍ ഇന്ത്യയുടെ ഇന്നിങ്സ് 20-1ന് അവസാനിച്ചു.
