ദുബായ് : ഏഷ്യ കപ്പ് ക്രിക്കറ്റിന്‍റെ കലാശപ്പോരില്‍ പാകിസ്ഥാനെ തോല്‍പ്പിച്ച് ശ്രീലങ്കന്‍ ടീം നേടിയെടുത്തത് പുത്തന്‍ പ്രതീക്ഷകളാണ്. സ്വന്തം മണ്ണില്‍ നടക്കേണ്ടിയിരുന്ന ടൂര്ണമെന്റ് സാമ്പത്തിക പ്രതിസന്ധിയേയും ആഭ്യന്തര പ്രശ്‌നങ്ങളേയും തുടര്‍ന്നാണ് യുഎഇയിലേക്ക് പറിച്ചുനടപ്പെട്ടത്. പ്രതീക്ഷകളുടെ അമിത ഭാരമില്ലാതെയുമാണ് ലങ്കന്‍ ടീം യുഎയിലേക്ക് പറന്നത്.
