ശ്വാസ തടസത്തെ തുടര്‍ന്ന് ആശുപത്രിയില്‍ പ്രവേശിപ്പിച്ച മുതിര്‍ന്ന ബോളിവുഡ് നടന്‍ ദിലീപ് കുമാറിന്‍റെ ആരോഗ്യനിലയില്‍ മാറ്റമില്ലെന്നും താരം ഇപ്പോഴും ഐസിയുവില്‍ തുടരുകയാണെന്നും മുംബൈയിലെ ഹിന്ദുജ ആശുപത്രി അധികൃതര്‍ അറിയിച്ചു. കഴിഞ്ഞ കുറച്ചുദിവസങ്ങളായി താരത്തിന് ശ്വാസതടസം അനുഭവപ്പെട്ടിരുന്നുവെന്ന് ഭാര്യ സൈറ ബാനു പറഞ്ഞിരുന്നു. 98കാരനായ ദിലീപ് കുമാർ വാർധക്യസഹജമായ പ്രശ്‌നങ്ങൾ അനുഭവിക്കുന്നുണ്ട്. ശ്വാസകോശത്തിലെ ഫ്ലൂയിഡിന്‍റെ അളവിലുണ്ടായ വർധനയാണ് ഇപ്പോഴത്തെ ബുദ്ധിമുട്ടിന് കാരണം. അത് പരിഹരിക്കും വരെ ആശുപത്രിയില്‍ തുടരേണ്ടി വരുമെന്നാണ് സൂചന.

ഏറ്റവും കൂടുതല്‍ ഫിലിം ഫെയര്‍ പുരസ്‌കാരങ്ങള്‍ നേടിയ നടനാണ് ദിലീപ് കുമാര്‍. 'ദി ഫസ്റ്റ് ഖാന്‍' എന്ന ചിത്രത്തിലൂടെയാണ് താരം ശ്രദ്ധേയനാവുന്നത്. 1944ല്‍ പുറത്തിറങ്ങിയ ജ്വാര്‍ ഭാട്ട എന്ന ചിത്രത്തിലൂടെയാണ് താരം അഭിനയ ജീവിതം ആരംഭിക്കുന്നത്. പിന്നീട് 65ലധികം സിനിമകളില്‍ നായകനായി. 1991ല്‍ അദ്ദേഹത്തെ രാജ്യം പത്മഭൂഷന്‍ നല്‍കി ആദരിച്ചു. പിന്നീട് 1994ല്‍ ദാദാസാഹിബ് ഫാല്‍കെ പുരസ്‌കാരവും ലഭിച്ചു. 2015ലാണ് അദ്ദേഹത്തിന് പത്മവിഭൂഷന്‍ ലഭിക്കുന്നത്. ഏറ്റവും കൂടുതല്‍ പുരസ്‌കാരങ്ങള്‍ നേടിയ ഇന്ത്യന്‍ അഭിനേതാവ് എന്ന ഗിന്നസ് റെക്കോഡും ദിലീപ് കുമാറിന് സ്വന്തമാണ്.
