നീലച്ചിത്രക്കേസിൽ അറസ്റ്റിലായ ശേഷം ഇടക്കാല ജാമ്യത്തിലിറങ്ങിയ നടി ഗഹന വസിഷ്‌ഠ് മുംബൈ പൊലീസിന് മുൻപിൽ മൊഴി നൽകി. തനിക്കെതിരെ വ്യാജ പരാതി നൽകിയ യുവതിക്ക് എതിരെ മാനനഷ്‌ടക്കേസ് നൽകുമെന്നും സത്യം വെളിച്ചത്തുകൊണ്ടുവരാൻ തന്‍റെ പരമാവധി ശ്രമിക്കുമെന്നും ഗഹന വസിഷ്‌ഠ് മൊഴി നൽകിയ ശേഷം മാധ്യമങ്ങളോട് വ്യക്തമാക്കി.

നീലച്ചിത്രനിർമാണക്കേസിൽ അറസ്റ്റിലായ നടി താൻ നഗ്നദൃശ്യങ്ങളുള്ള ചിത്രങ്ങളാണ് നിർമിച്ചതെന്നും അതിനെ നീലച്ചിത്രമെന്ന് പറയാനാവില്ലെന്നും പൊലീസിന് നൽകിയ മൊഴിയിൽ വ്യക്തമാക്കിയിട്ടുണ്ട്. ഒടിടി പ്ലാറ്റ്‌ഫോമുകൾ വഴി വിതരണം ചെയ്യുന്ന സിനിമകൾക്ക് നിലവിൽ സെൻസർഷിപ്പ് ഇല്ലാത്തതിനാൽ തന്നെ, കേസ് നിലനിൽക്കില്ലെന്നും ഗഹന വാദിച്ചു.
ഫെബ്രുവരിയിലാണ് ഗഹന അറസ്റ്റിലായത്. പെൺകുട്ടികളെ പ്രലോഭിപ്പിച്ചും ഭീഷണിപ്പെടുത്തിയും അശ്ലീലചിത്രങ്ങൾ നിർമിച്ചു എന്നും താരത്തിനെതിരെ മുംബൈ പൊലീസ് കേസ് രജിസ്റ്റർ ചെയ്‌തിരുന്നു. എന്നാൽ, ഗഹനക്ക് സെപ്‌തംബർ 22ന് സുപ്രീംകോടതി ജാമ്യം അനുവദിക്കുകയായിരുന്നു.
