മാള്‍ഡ: പശ്ചിമ ബംഗാളില്‍ സ്‌ത്രീയെ ശാരീരികമായി ഉപദ്രവിച്ചശേഷം തീകൊളുത്തി. മാള്‍ഡ ജില്ലയിലെ ഇംഗ്ലീഷ് ബസാർ പൊലീസ് സ്റ്റേഷന്‍റെ അധികാരപരിധിയിലുള്ള ധന്താല - ചക്ലമോർ പ്രദേശത്താണ് സംഭവം. നാട്ടുകാരാണ് ഒരു മാവിന്‍ തോട്ടത്തില്‍ പൊള്ളലേറ്റ നിലയില്‍ സ്‌ത്രീയുടെ മൃതദേഹം കണ്ടെത്തിയത്. തുടര്‍ന്ന് ഇവര്‍ പൊലീസിനെ വിവരമറിയിക്കുകയായിരുന്നു.
യുവതിയെ ശാരീരികമായ ഉപദ്രവിച്ചശേഷം കത്തിച്ചതാണെന്ന് നാട്ടുകാര്‍ ആരോപിച്ചു. അതേസമയം മരിച്ച സ്‌ത്രീയെ തിരിച്ചറിയാനായിട്ടില്ലെന്ന് പൊലീസ് അറിയിച്ചു. മൃതദേഹം പോസ്‌റ്റ്മോര്‍ട്ടത്തിനയച്ചു.

യുവതിയെ ശാരീരികമായ ഉപദ്രവിച്ചശേഷം കത്തിച്ചതാണെന്ന് നാട്ടുകാര്‍ ആരോപിച്ചു. അതേസമയം മരിച്ച സ്‌ത്രീയെ തിരിച്ചറിയാനായിട്ടില്ലെന്ന് പൊലീസ് അറിയിച്ചു. മൃതദേഹം പോസ്‌റ്റ്മോര്‍ട്ടത്തിനയച്ചു.
Malda Dec 5 A gruesome incident of burning a woman after physical assault has come to light in the Malda district of West Bengal today.
The incident comes closely on the heels of the Disha gangrape case, where a woman veterinary doctor was allegedly raped and burnt by a group of people at a desolate spot near Shamshabad.
Local residents of Dhantala-Chaklamore area under the jurisdiction of Englishbazar police station in Malda raised an alarm this morning, after they spotted a burnt body of a woman inside a mango orchard. They alleged that the woman was physically assaulted and then burnt.
Police have said that the identity of the victim is yet to be ascertained and investigations have been initiated.
Locals could not identify the victim, but have alleged that there were assault marks on the victim's body. The body has been sent for post mortem, the police said.
