ടെക്‌സാസ് : അമേരിക്കയിലെ ടെക്‌സാസിലെ എലിമെന്‍ററി സ്‌കൂളിലുണ്ടായ വെടിവയ്‌പ്പിനെ അപലപിച്ച് സെലിബ്രിറ്റികള്‍. ചലച്ചിത്ര താരങ്ങളായ പ്രിയങ്ക ചോപ്ര, ആര്‍ മാധവന്‍, സ്വര ഭാസ്‌കര്‍, റിച്ച ഛദ്ദ, ഗായകരായ സെലീന ഗോമസ്, ടെയ്‌ലര്‍ സ്വിഫ്‌റ്റ് എന്നിവരാണ് സമൂഹ മാധ്യമങ്ങളിലൂടെ പ്രതികരിച്ചത്. അമേരിക്കയിലെ വ്യാപകമായ ആയുധ അക്രമങ്ങള്‍ അവസാനിപ്പിക്കാൻ ഭരണകൂടം തയ്യാറാകണമെന്നും താരങ്ങള്‍ ആവശ്യപ്പെട്ടു.
ടെക്‌സാസിലെ ഉവാള്‍ഡയിലെ റോബ് എലിമെന്‍ററി സ്‌കൂളില്‍ ചൊവ്വാഴ്‌ച രാവിലെ 11.30 ഓടെയുണ്ടായ (ഇന്ത്യന്‍ സമയം ബുധനാഴ്‌ച പുലർച്ചെ രണ്ട് മണി) വെടിവയ്‌പ്പില്‍ 19 കുട്ടികളും രണ്ട് മുതിർന്നവരും ഉൾപ്പടെ 21 പേരാണ് കൊല്ലപ്പെട്ടത്. 18കാരനായ സാല്‍വര്‍ റാമോസ് എന്നയാളാണ് അക്രമം നടത്തിയതെന്ന് ടെക്‌സാസ് ഗവര്‍ണര്‍ അറിയിച്ചു. ന്യൂയോർക്കിലെ ബഫല്ലോ എന്ന പ്രദേശത്ത് ഒരു സൂപ്പർമാർക്കറ്റിൽ ആയുധധാരി നടത്തിയ വെടിവയ്‌പ്പില്‍ പത്ത് ആഫ്രിക്കന്‍ അമേരിക്കന്‍ വംശജർ കൊല്ലപ്പെട്ട സംഭവം നടന്ന് രണ്ടാഴ്‌ചയ്ക്കുള്ളിലാണ് ടെക്‌സാസിലെ വെടിവയ്പ്പ്.
