ഹാഫ് മൂൺ ബേ (കാലിഫോർണിയ): ഹാഫ് മൂൺ ബേയുടെ പ്രാന്തപ്രദേശത്ത് നടന്ന രണ്ട് വെടിവയ്പ്പുകളിൽ 7 പേർ കൊല്ലപ്പെട്ടു. സാൻഫ്രാൻസിസ്കോയിലെ മഷ്‌റൂം ഫാമിലും ട്രക്കിങ് സ്ഥാപനത്തിലും ഇന്നലെയാണ് വെടിവയ്‌പ്പുണ്ടായത്. സംഭവത്തിൽ ഷാവോ ചുൻലി 67 കാരനായ ഒരാളെ പൊലീസ് കസ്റ്റഡിയിലെടുത്തതായി സാൻ മാറ്റിയോ കൗണ്ടി സൂപ്പർവൈസർ ഡേവിഡ് കനേപ ട്വീറ്റ് ചെയ്‌തു.

സാൻ ഫ്രാൻസിസ്കോയിൽ നിന്ന് 30 മൈൽ (48 കിലോമീറ്റർ) തെക്ക് നഗരമായ ഹാഫ് മൂൺ ബേയുടെ പ്രാന്തപ്രദേശത്തുള്ള ഫാമിലെ നാല് പേരും ട്രക്കിംഗ് സ്ഥാപനത്തിലെ മൂന്ന് പേരുമാണ് കൊല്ലപ്പെട്ടതെന്ന് സാൻ മാറ്റിയോ കൗണ്ടി ബോർഡ് ഓഫ് സൂപ്പർവൈസേഴ്‌സ് പ്രസിഡന്‍റ് ഡേവ് പൈൻ പറഞ്ഞു. വെടിവയ്‌പ്പിനുള്ള കാരണം വ്യക്തമല്ല.

മോണ്ടറി പാർക്കിലെ അക്രമത്തിന് പിന്നാലെയാണ് ഇപ്പോൾ ഹാഫ് മൂൺ ബേയിലും വെടിവയ്‌പ്പ് ഉണ്ടായത്. മോണ്ടറി പാർക്കിലെ അക്രമത്തിൽ 11 പേർ കൊല്ലപ്പെട്ടിരുന്നു. ചൈനീസ് പുതുവത്സര ആഘോഷങ്ങൾക്കിടെയാണ് വെടിവയ്‌പ്പുണ്ടായത്. പിന്നാലെ അക്രമിയേയും വാനിൽ മരിച്ച നിലയിൽ കണ്ടെത്തിയിരുന്നു.
