ഇസ്ലാമാബാദ്: പാകിസ്ഥാൻ മുൻ പ്രസിഡന്‍റ് പര്‍വേസ് മുഷറഫിന് വധശിക്ഷ വിധിച്ച ഉത്തരവില്‍ പട്ടാളവും ജുഡീഷ്യറിയും തമ്മില്‍ വാക് പോര് കനക്കുന്നു. പര്‍വേസ് മുഷറഫിനെ മരിച്ച നിലയില്‍ കണ്ടെത്തിയാല്‍ പോലും അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്‍റെ മൃതശരീരം ഇസ്ലാമാബാദിലെ ഡി ചൗക്കില്‍ മൂന്ന് ദിവസം കെട്ടിതൂക്കിയിടാനുത്തരവിടുമെന്ന് ജുഡീഷ്യറി അറിയിച്ചു. 2007ല്‍ രാജ്യത്ത് അടിയന്തരാവസ്ഥ ചുമത്തിയതിനാണ് രാജ്യ ദ്രോഹ കുറ്റം ആരോപിച്ച് മുഷറഫിനെതിരെ കേസെടുത്തത്. രാജ്യത്തിന്‍റെ ചരിത്രത്തില്‍ തന്നെ ആദ്യമായാണ് പട്ടാള മേധാവിയായിരുന്ന വ്യക്തിക്ക് വധശിക്ഷ വിധിക്കുന്നത്.
2013 ഡിസംബർ മുതൽ കേസില്‍ വിചാരണ ആരംഭിച്ചെങ്കിലും 2019 ഡിസംബറിലാണ് അദ്ദേഹത്തിന് വധശിക്ഷ വിധിച്ചത്.നിലവില്‍ മുഷറഫ് ദുബായിലാണ്.
