വാഷിംഗ്‌ടണ്‍: കൊവിഡ് 19 മൂലം യുഎസില്‍ ഒന്നരമാസം പ്രായമുള്ള കുട്ടി മരിച്ചു. യുഎസില്‍ കൊവിഡ് മൂലം മരിക്കുന്ന ഏറ്റവും പ്രായം കുറഞ്ഞ കുട്ടിയാണിതെന്ന് കണക്‌ടിക്കട്ട് സംസ്ഥാന ഗവര്‍ണര്‍ നെഡ് ലമോണ്ട് അറിയിച്ചു.

4476 പേരാണ് യുഎസില്‍ ഇതുവരെ കൊവിഡ് മൂലം മരിച്ചത്. പ്രായാധിക്യമുള്ളവരോടൊപ്പം തന്നെ പ്രായം കുറഞ്ഞവരും യുഎസില്‍ ചികില്‍സ തേടി ആശുപത്രികളിലെത്തുന്നുണ്ട്. കണക്‌ടിക്കട്ട് സംസ്ഥാനത്തില്‍ മാത്രം 2000 പേരാണ് മരിച്ചത്.
ന്യൂയോര്‍ക്ക്,ന്യൂജേഴ്‌സി,കണക്‌ടിക്കട്ട് സംസ്ഥാനങ്ങളിലെ ജനങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് പുറത്തിറങ്ങുന്നതിന് കര്‍ശന നിയന്ത്രണം ഏര്‍പ്പെടുത്തിയിട്ടുണ്ട്. ഇവിടങ്ങളിലാണ് ഏറ്റവും കൂടുതല്‍ പേര്‍ക്ക് വൈറസ് ബാധ സ്ഥിരീകരിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത്.
