കൈക്കുഞ്ഞുങ്ങളുമായി ഇനി സുരക്ഷിത യാത്ര; ബേബി ബെർത്ത് സൗകര്യവുമായി റെൽവേ

ട്രെയിനില്‍ മാതാപിതാക്കള്‍ക്ക് കുഞ്ഞുങ്ങളെ സുരക്ഷിതമായി കിടത്താനുള്ള സൗകര്യമൊരുക്കുകയാണ് പദ്ധതിയുടെ ലക്ഷ്യം

ന്യൂഡൽഹി: കൈക്കുഞ്ഞുങ്ങളുമായി യാത്ര ചെയ്യുന്ന യാത്രക്കാർക്ക് ബേബി ബെർത്ത് സൗകര്യവുമായി റെൽവേ. കുട്ടി വീഴാതിരിക്കാന്‍ ബെല്‍റ്റ് സൗകര്യത്തോടെ ലോവർ ബെർത്തിലാണ് ബേബി ബര്‍ത്ത് സജ്ജമാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നത്. മദേഴ്‌സ് ഡേയുടെ ഭാഗമായാണ് പുതിയ പദ്ധതി.

ലോവർ ബെർത്തിൽ അടിഭാഗത്തേക്ക് മടക്കി വയ്ക്കാവുന്ന രീതിയിലാണ് ബേബി ബെർത്തുകള്‍ ഘടിപ്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത്. 770 എംഎം നീളവും 255 എംഎം വീതിയും 76.2 എംഎം ഉയരവുമാണ് ബെർത്തുകള്‍ക്കുള്ളത്. ട്രെയിനില്‍ മാതാപിതാക്കള്‍ക്ക് കുഞ്ഞുങ്ങളെ സുരക്ഷിതമായി കിടത്താനുള്ള സൗകര്യമൊരുക്കുകയാണ് പദ്ധതിയുടെ ലക്ഷ്യം.

ലക്‌നൗ മെയിലിലെ കോച്ചിലാണ് പരീക്ഷണാടിസ്ഥാനത്തിൽ പദ്ധതി ആദ്യമായി അവതരിപ്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത്. യാത്രക്കാരുടെ അഭിപ്രായങ്ങള്‍ ശേഖരിച്ച ശേഷം കൂടുതൽ ട്രെയിനുകളിൽ പദ്ധതി നടപ്പാക്കാനാണ് റെയിൽവേയുടെ തീരുമാനം. ബേബി ബെർത്തുകള്‍ക്കായി പ്രത്യേക ബുക്കിങുകള്‍ ഒരുക്കാനുള്ള തീരുമാനവും ആലോചനയിലാണ്.
