ഹൈദരാബാദ് : ഡല്ഹി തെരുവോരങ്ങളില് ഓട്ടോറിക്ഷയില് ചുറ്റി കറങ്ങിയും വഴിയരികിലെ തട്ടുകടയില് നിന്ന് മസാല ചായ ആസ്വദിച്ചും യുഎസ് സ്റ്റേറ്റ് സെക്രട്ടറി ആന്റണി ബ്ലിങ്കന്. ഇതിന്റെ ദൃശ്യങ്ങളും ചിത്രങ്ങളും സമൂഹ മാധ്യമങ്ങളില് വൈറലാണ്. ജി20 വിദേശ കാര്യ മന്ത്രിമാരുടെ യോഗത്തില് പങ്കെടുക്കാനാണ് ബ്ലിങ്കന് ഇന്ത്യയിലെത്തിയത്.
യുഎസ് എംബസികളിലെ ജീവനക്കാരുമായും ഇന്ത്യയില് വിവിധയിടങ്ങളില് താമസിക്കുന്ന യുഎസ് പൗരന്മാരുമായും അവരുടെ കുടുംബാംഗങ്ങളുമായും ആശയവിനിമയം നടത്തിയ ശേഷമായിരുന്നു ഡല്ഹിയിലൂടെയുള്ള ഓട്ടോറിക്ഷ സവാരി. ഡല്ഹിയിലൂടെ ഓട്ടോയില് ചുറ്റി കറങ്ങുന്നതിന്റെയും മസാല ചായ നുകരുന്നതിന്റെയും ചിത്രങ്ങളും വീഡിയോകളും അദ്ദേഹം തന്നെ ട്വിറ്ററില് പങ്കിട്ടിരുന്നു. ഇന്ത്യ- യുഎസ് ബന്ധം ശക്തിപ്പെടുത്തുന്നതിനും ഇരു രാജ്യങ്ങളും തമ്മിലുള്ള തന്ത്രപരമായ പങ്കാളിത്തം മെച്ചപ്പെടുത്തുന്നതിനും സ്വീകരിക്കുന്ന കഠിനാധ്വാനത്തിന് ഒഫീഷ്യലുകളോടും പൗരരോടും അദ്ദേഹം നന്ദിയറിയിച്ചു.
ഹൈദരാബാദ്, കൊൽക്കത്ത, ചെന്നൈ, മുംബൈ എന്നിവിടങ്ങളിൽ പ്രവര്ത്തിക്കുന്ന തങ്ങളുടെ ജീവനക്കാരെയും അവരുടെ കുടുംബങ്ങളെയും കണ്ടുമുട്ടിയതില് വളരെയധികം സന്തോഷമുണ്ടെന്നും അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞു. ഇന്ത്യയുടെ ആതിഥ്യ മര്യാദയ്ക്കും നേതൃത്വത്തിനും നന്ദി. ഇന്ത്യയും യുഎസും തമ്മില് ദൃഢ ബന്ധമുണ്ട്.
