ബൂട്ടാ സിങ്ങിന്‍റെ മരണത്തിൽ അനുശോചിച്ച് പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി

പരിചയ സമ്പന്നനായ ഭരണാധികാരിയെന്ന നിലയിൽ ദരിദ്രരുടെ ക്ഷേമത്തിനായി സിംഗ് തന്‍റെ പദവി ഉപയോഗിച്ചുവെന്ന് മോദി പറഞ്ഞു.

ന്യൂഡൽഹി: മുൻ കോൺഗ്രസ് എംപി ബൂട്ടാ സിങ്ങിന്‍റെ മരണത്തിൽ കുടുംബത്തിന് അനുശോചനം രേഖപ്പെടുത്തി പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി നരേന്ദ്ര മോദി. പരിചയ സമ്പന്നനായ ഭരണാധികാരിയെന്ന നിലയിൽ ദരിദ്രരുടെ ക്ഷേമത്തിനായി സിംഗ് തന്‍റെ പദവി ഉപയോഗിച്ചുവെന്ന് മോദി പറഞ്ഞു. ബൂട്ടാ സിങ്ങിന്‍റെ മരണത്തിൽ രാജസ്ഥാൻ മുഖ്യമന്ത്രി അശോക് ഗെലോട്ടും ദുഃഖം രേഖപ്പെടുത്തി.

രാജസ്ഥാനിലെ ജലൂർ-സിരോഹി ലോക്സഭാ നിയോജകമണ്ഡലത്തിൽ നിന്ന് നാല് തവണ എംപിയായി തെരഞ്ഞെടുക്കപ്പെട്ട ബൂട്ടാ സിംഗ് 1986 മുതൽ 1989 വരെ രാജീവ് ഗാന്ധി സർക്കാരിൽ ആഭ്യന്തരമന്ത്രിയായി സേവനമനുഷ്ഠിച്ചു. പട്ടികജാതി കമ്മീഷൻ ദേശീയ പ്രസിഡന്റായിരുന്നു.
