പാറ്റ്ന: ബിഹാറിലെ വൈശാലിയിൽ വെടിയേറ്റ് ഗുരുതരമായി പരിക്കേറ്റ നീലക്കാളയെ ജീവനോടെ കുഴിച്ചിട്ട് വനം വകുപ്പ് ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥര്‍. കൃഷിയിടങ്ങൾ നശിപ്പിക്കുന്നുവെന്ന കർഷകരുടെ പരാതിയെ തുടർന്ന് മുന്നൂറോളം നീലക്കാളകളെയാണ് പ്രദേശത്ത് വെടിവച്ച് കൊന്നത്. ജീവനോടെ നീലക്കാളയെ കുഴിച്ചിടുന്ന വീഡിയോ ദൃശ്യങ്ങള്‍ സമൂഹമാധ്യമങ്ങളില്‍ പ്രചരിക്കുകയാണ്.

പരിക്കേറ്റ നീലക്കാളയെ ജെസിബി ഉപയോഗിച്ച് ജീവനോടെ കുഴിയിലേക്ക് തള്ളിയിട്ടതിന് ശേഷം മണ്ണിട്ട് മൂടുന്ന ദൃശ്യങ്ങളാണ് പ്രചരിക്കുന്നത്. പ്രദേശത്തെ കാര്‍ഷിക വിളകള്‍ നീലക്കാളകള്‍ കൂട്ടത്തോടെ തിന്ന് നശിപ്പിക്കാറുണ്ട്. ഇതേ തുടർന്നുള്ള കര്‍ഷകരുടെ പ്രതിഷേധത്തിലാണ് നീലക്കാളകളെ കൊല്ലാന്‍ അധികൃതർ നിര്‍ദേശം നല്‍കിയത്.
