സംസ്ഥാന ടൂറിസം വകുപ്പും അവധ് യൂണിവേഴ്‌സിറ്റിയും ചേർന്നാണ് ലോക റെക്കോർഡിലേക്കുള്ള ദീപോത്സവം സംഘടിപ്പിക്കുന്നത്.

അയോധ്യ ദീപാവലി

ലക്‌നൗ: രാജ്യം ദീപാവലി ആഘോഷിക്കുമ്പോൾ അയോധ്യ അത് ഗിന്നസ് ബുക്ക് റെക്കോർഡിലേക്കുള്ള വഴി തുറക്കുകയാണ്. കഴിഞ്ഞ വർഷം മൂന്ന് ലക്ഷം വിളക്കുകൾ കത്തിച്ച് ഗിന്നസ് ബുക്കിലിടം നേടിയിരുന്നു അയോധ്യ. റെക്കോർഡ് തിരുത്താൻ ഇത്തവണ ദീപാവലിക്ക് അഞ്ച് ലക്ഷത്തിൽ കൂടുതൽ മൺചിരാതുകൾ തെളിയിക്കാനുള്ള തയ്യാറെടുപ്പിലാണ് യുപി ഗവൺമെന്‍റ്. ഏകദേശം 40 ലിറ്റർ എണ്ണയാണ് കുറഞ്ഞത് 45 മിനിറ്റ് നേരത്തേക്ക് നഗരത്തെ പ്രകാശമയമാക്കാൻ വേണ്ടത്. ഇതിനായി 5000 വോളന്‍റിയേഴ്‌സിനെയും ഏർപ്പെടുത്തി.

ഈ മാസം 26ന് നടക്കുന്ന ആഘോഷ പരിപാടികളുടെ നടത്തിപ്പ് സർക്കാർ സംസ്ഥാന ടൂറിസം വകുപ്പിന് നൽകി. അവധ് സർവകലാശാലയും ടൂറിസം വകുപ്പും ചേർന്നൊരുക്കുന്ന ദീപോത്സവത്തിൽ അയോധ്യയും സരയൂ തീരവുമുൾപ്പടെ 15 സ്ഥലങ്ങളിൽ 5.51 ലക്ഷം ദീപങ്ങൾ തെളിയും.

ഇന്ന് രാവിലെ പത്ത് മണി മുതൽ 12 മണി വരെ രാമ കഥാ മ്യൂസിയത്തിൽ പെയിന്‍റിങ് വർഷോപ്പും തുടർന്ന് രാംലീലയും ഭജനയും ഉണ്ടാകും. മൂന്ന് ദിവസം നീളുന്ന ആഘോഷങ്ങൾക്കൊടുവിൽ ദീപാവലി ദിനത്തിൽ ഘോഷയാത്രയും അന്തർദേശീയ രാംലീല അവതരണവും നടത്തും. ശ്രീലങ്ക, നേപ്പാൾ, ഇന്തോനേഷ്യ, ഫിലിപ്പൻസ് എന്നിവിടങ്ങളിൽ നിന്നുള്ള കലാകാരന്മാർ പരിപാടിയിൽ പങ്കെടുക്കുമെന്നും അവധി യൂണിവേഴ്‌സിറ്റി വൈസ് ചെയർമാൻ മനോജ് ദീക്ഷിത് ഇടിവി ഭാരതിനോട് പറഞ്ഞു.

Ayodhya set to make another world record by lighting 5.51 lakh diyaas this Diwali

Uttar Pradesh’s Yogi governemnt has swung into action with the state tourism department and local administration to celebrate deepotsava. Government is intending to register deepotsava with Guinness Book of World Records repeating last years success.

Ayodhya: This deepotsava on 26th October in Ayodhya the government intends to light more than 5 lakhs earthern lamps or diyaas. Last year this number was 3 lakhs and was registered as a world record. To qualify as a world record all the diyaas have to burn simultaneously for atleast 45 minutes. To achieve this around 40 thousand liters of oil has been arranged.

5000 volunteers to participate in the event

The state government has made the tourism department as the nodal agency for the event. The nodal agency has assigned Awadh University as the onground executioner. The University will be helped by 5000 volunteers to execute the event on 26^th October. The volunteers include University students and cadets from NCC and Scouts. With 5 ghats on the Saryu and 9 temples in Ayodhya a total of 15 places will be lit with 5.51 lakh diyaas on the 26^th .

Celebrations to start from 24 October

Deepotsava celebrations will start from 24^th October. On 24^th from morning 10 am to 12 noon will have a painting workshop at the Ram Katha museum. At 6 in the evening ramleela will be staged at the Guptar ghat followed by bhajna recital at 6:30 pm at the Ram Katha park. 25^th october will see cultural evening with ramleela from 6 pm onwards at the Ramkatha Park. On 26^th October, 1 pm onwards a procession will be taken out. This will start from Saket College and will move through Hanuman Gadi, Tulsi Udyan, Naya Ghat and will culminate at Ram ki Paidee. At 6 in the evening there will be cultural programs at 10 places in Ayodhya. International ramleela will be staged at the Guptar Ghat at 7 in the evening. This will see participation of artists from Srilanka, Nepal, Indonesia and Phillipines

Organisation assigned to Awadh University

Awadh University has been assigned as the onground nodal agency for the organisation of the event. Speaking to ETV about the event, Vice Chancellor of the University Manoj Dikshit said “we will make another record this time. Last time the record was for 3 lakh diyaas, this time it will be even more. Records are meant to be broken but our ojective is to educate people about the teachings of Lord Ram. This event will also be critical with respect to tourism.”

Deepotsava to incurr an expense of 65 lakh

According to the tourism department to light 5 lakh 51 thousand diyaas cotton worth 10 lakh rupees will be used. 40 thousand liters of oil will be consumed. A total of about 65 lakhs would be spent on the event. According to Manoj Dikshit, at the places of the event 11 water tanks each with a capacity of 5000 liters have bene installed. 300 dustbins will be installed all around the place. Local municipal department will also distribute 11 diyaas, 22 cotton threads and 2 liter oil in malin basti’s.
