ഇൻഡോറില്‍ നിന്നുള്ള എംഎല്‍എയും മുതിർന്ന ബിജെപി നേതാവ് കൈലാഷ് വിജയ് വർജിയയുടെ മകനുമായ ആകാശ് വിജയ് വർജിയയും അനുയായികളും ചേർന്നാണ് കഴിഞ്ഞ ബുധനാഴ്ച ഇൻഡോർ മുനിസിപ്പല്‍ ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥനെ നടുറോഡില്‍ മർദ്ദിച്ചത്. മാധ്യമപ്രവർത്തകരുടേയും നാട്ടുകാരുടേയും മുന്നില്‍ നടന്ന സംഭവം വലിയ വിവാദമായതോടെയാണ് ആകാശിനെ പൊലീസ് അറസ്റ്റ് ചെയ്തത്.
ഇത് നാളെയും ആവർത്തിക്കും എന്നും ആരോഗ്യവും മനസും ധനവും ഉപയോഗിച്ച് ജനങ്ങളെ സേവിക്കുമെന്നുമാണ് ഇന്നലെ ഭോപ്പാല്‍ പ്രത്യേക കോടതിയില്‍ നിന്ന് ജാമ്യം ലഭിച്ച് ജയില്‍ മോചിതനായ ആകാശ് പറഞ്ഞത്. നിരവധി ബിജെപി പ്രവർത്തകരാണ് ആകാശിനെ സ്വീകരിക്കാൻ ജയിലിന് മുന്നില്‍ എത്തിയത്. ആദ്യം അപേക്ഷിക്കുമെന്നും പിന്നെ ആക്രമിക്കുമെന്നുമാണ് ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥനെ മർദ്ദിച്ച ശേഷം ആകാശ് മാധ്യമങ്ങളോട് പറഞ്ഞത്. സംഭവത്തില്‍ കേന്ദ്ര ആഭ്യന്തര മന്ത്രിയും ബിജെപി ദേശീയ അധ്യക്ഷനുമായ അമിത് ഷാ മധ്യപ്രദേശ് ബിജെപി ഘടകത്തോട് വിശദീകരണം തേടിയിട്ടുണ്ട്.
