ഗുജറാത്തില്‍ കുടുങ്ങിയ 265 ബ്രിട്ടീഷ്‌ പൗരന്മാരെ മടക്കി അയച്ചു

തിങ്കളാഴ്‌ച അഹമ്മദാബാദില്‍ നിന്നും പുറപ്പെട്ട പ്രത്യേക വിമാനത്തിലാണ് ഇവരെ മടക്കിയത്.

അഹമ്മദാബാദ്: ലോക്‌ഡൗണിനെ തുടര്‍ന്ന് ഗുജറാത്തില്‍ കുടുങ്ങിയ 265 ബ്രിട്ടീഷ്‌ പൗരന്മാരെ മടക്കി അയച്ചു. തിങ്കളാഴ്‌ച അഹമ്മദാബാദ് അന്താരാഷ്ട്ര വിമാനത്താവളത്തില്‍ നിന്നും ബ്രിട്ടന്‍ അയച്ച പ്രത്യേക വിമാനത്തിലാണ് ഇവര്‍ മടങ്ങിയത്. ഇന്ത്യയില്‍ കുടുങ്ങിയ ബാക്കി പൗന്മാരേയും ഈ ആഴ്‌ച തന്നെ തിരിച്ച് നാട്ടിലെത്തിക്കുമെന്ന് ഗുജറാത്തില്‍ പ്രവര്‍ത്തിക്കുന്ന ബ്രിട്ടീഷ് ഹൈകമ്മിഷന്‍ അറിയിച്ചു.

ആകെ 900 ബ്രിട്ടീഷ്‌ പൗരന്മാരാണ് ഇന്ത്യയില്‍ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നത്. ഏപ്രില്‍ 15നും 17നും പ്രത്യേക വിമാന സര്‍വീസ് ക്രമീകരിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. ബാക്കി കുടുങ്ങി കിടക്കുന്ന പൗരാന്മാരേയും ഈ ദിവസങ്ങളില്‍ തിരിച്ചയക്കുമെന്ന് അധികൃതര്‍ അറിയിച്ചു. ലോക്‌ഡൗണ്‍ പ്രഖ്യാപിച്ചതിനെ തുടര്‍ന്ന് അന്തര്‍ദേശീയ വിമാന സര്‍വീസുകള്‍ റദ്ദാക്കിയിരുന്നു,
