ಕೊಚ್ಚಿ: 2003ರಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ಯಾರಿಸ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ ವಿಶ್ವ ಅಥ್ಲೆಟಿಕ್ಸ್ ಚಾಂಪಿಯನ್‌ಶಿಪ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ಐತಿಹಾಸಿಕ ಕಂಚಿನ ಪದಕ ಗೆದ್ದಿರುವ ಭಾರತದ ಲಾಂಗ್ ಜಂಪರ್ ಅಂಜು ಬಾಬಿ ಜಾರ್ಜ್ , ತಾವೂ ಈ ಯಶಸ್ಸನ್ನು ಒಂದೇ ಕಿಡ್ನಿಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸಾಧಿಸಿದ್ದೆ ಎಂಬ ವಿಶೇಷ ಮಾಹಿತಿಯನ್ನು ಹಂಚಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಐಎಎಎಫ್ ವಿಶ್ವ ಅಥ್ಲೆಟಿಕ್ಸ್ ಫೈನಲ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ಚಿನ್ನದ ಪದಕ ವಿಜೇತರಾಗಿರುವ ಅಂಜು , ಈ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸುವ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ತಾವೂ ಒಂದು ಕಿಡ್ನಿಯನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿದ್ದು, ಜೊತೆ ಹಲವಾರು ರೀತಿಯ ಅಲರ್ಜಿ ಹೊಂದಿದ್ದರೂ ತಾವೂ ಚಿನ್ನದ ಪದಕವನ್ನು ಗೆದ್ದಿದ್ದಾಗಿ ತಿಳಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಅಂಜು ಅವರು 2004ರ ಅಥೆನ್ಸ್ ಒಲಿಂಪಿಕ್ಸ್ನಲ್ಲಿ 6ನೇ ಸ್ಥಾನಪಡೆದಿದ್ದು ಅವರ ಅತ್ಯುತ್ತಮ ಒಲಿಂಪಿಕ್ಸ್ ಸಾಧನೆಯಾಗಿತ್ತು. 2007ರಲ್ಲಿ ಅಮೆರಿಕಾದ ಮರಿಯಾನ್ ಜೋನ್ಸ್ ಡೂಪಿಂಗ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿಬಿದ್ದ ಮೇಲೆ ಅಂಜುಗೆ 5ನೇ ಸ್ಥಾನ ಲಭಿಸಿತ್ತು.
