Manipur violence: ಮಣಿಪುರದಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಹುಲ್​ ಗಾಂಧಿ ಪ್ರಯಾಣಕ್ಕೆ ತಡೆ; ಸುರಕ್ಷತೆಗಾಗಿ ಕ್ರಮವೆಂದ ಪೊಲೀಸರು

ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್​ ನಾಯಕ ರಾಹುಲ್​ ಗಾಂಧಿ ಎರಡು ದಿನಗಳ ಭೇಟಿಗಾಗಿ ಮಣಿಪುರಕ್ಕೆ ಆಗಮಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಆದರೆ, ಇಂಫಾಲದಿಂದ ಸುಮಾರು 20 ಕಿ.ಮೀ ದೂರದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಬಿಷ್ಣುಪುರದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರ ಬೆಂಗಾವಲು ಪಡೆಯನ್ನು ಪೊಲೀಸರು ತಡೆದಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಇಂಫಾಲ (ಮಣಿಪುರ): ಹಿಂಸಾಚಾರ ಪೀಡಿತ ಮಣಿಪಾಲಕ್ಕೆ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್​ ನಾಯಕ ರಾಹುಲ್​ ಗಾಂಧಿ ಇಂದು ಭೇಟಿ ನೀಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಈ ವೇಳೆ ಬಿಷ್ಣುಪುರದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರ ಬೆಂಗಾವಲು ಪಡೆಯನ್ನು ಪೊಲೀಸರು ತಡೆದರು. ಇದರಿಂದ ರಾಜಧಾನಿ ಇಂಫಾಲಕ್ಕೆ ಮರಳಿದ್ದು, ಬೇರೆಡೆ ನಿಗದಿಯಾದ ತಮ್ಮ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ಸ್ಥಳಕ್ಕೆ ಹೆಲಿಕಾಪ್ಟರ್​ ಮೂಲಕ ತೆರಳಲಿದಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಪರಿಸ್ಥಿತಿ ಅರಿಯಲು ಮತ್ತು ಪರಿಹಾರ ಶಿಬಿರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಆಶ್ರಯ ಪಡೆದ ಜನರನ್ನು ಭೇಟಿ ಮಾಡಲೆಂದು ರಾಹುಲ್​ ನೇತೃತ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್​ ನಾಯಕರು ರಾಜ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಆಗಮಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಮಧ್ಯಾಹ್ನ ಅವರು ಚುರಚಂದ್‌ಪುರಕ್ಕೆ ರಸ್ತೆ ಮಾರ್ಗವಾಗಿ ಪ್ರಯಾಣಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು. ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಇಂಫಾಲದಿಂದ ಸುಮಾರು 20 ಕಿ.ಮೀ ದೂರದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಬಿಷ್ಣುಪುರದಲ್ಲಿ ಪೊಲೀಸರು ಅವರ ಬೆಂಗಾವಲು ಪಡೆಯನ್ನು ತಡೆದಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಬಿಷ್ಣುಪುರ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಉಟ್ಲೌ ಗ್ರಾಮದ ಬಳಿ ಬೆಂಗಾವಲು ಪಡೆಗೆ ಟೈರ್‌ಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಕಲ್ಲುಗಳನ್ನು ಎಸೆಯುವ ಸಾಧ್ಯತೆ ಇದೆ. ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಮುನ್ನೆಚ್ಚರಿಕೆ ಕ್ರಮಗಳನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ತಡೆಯಲಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಮತ್ತೊಂದೆಡೆ, ರಾಹುಲ್​ ಪ್ರಯಾಣಕ್ಕೆ ಅವಕಾಶ ನೀಡದ್ದನ್ನು ಖಂಡಿಸಿ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್​ ಕಾರ್ಯಕರ್ತರು ಹಾಗೂ ಸ್ಥಳೀಯರು ಪ್ರತಿಭಟನೆ ನಡೆಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಪ್ರಧಾನ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿ ಕೆ.ಸಿ. ವೇಣುಗೋಪಾಲ್ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ, "ರಾಹುಲ್ ಗಾಂಧಿ ಆಗಮನಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಜನರು ರಸ್ತೆಯ ಇಕ್ಕೆಲಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಂತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಆದರೆ, ಪೊಲೀಸರು ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಏಕೆ ತಡೆದಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂಬುದೇ ಅರ್ಥವಾಗುತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ. ರಾಹುಲ್ ಭೇಟಿ ಸಂತ್ರಸ್ತ ಜನರನ್ನು ಭೇಟಿ ಮಾಡಲು ಬಂದಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ನಾವು ಸುಮಾರು 20-25 ಕಿಲೋಮೀಟರ್ ಪ್ರಯಾಣಿಸಿದ್ದೆವೆ. ಆದರೆ ಎಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ರಸ್ತೆ ತಡೆ ಇರಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ಥಳೀಯ ಪೊಲೀಸರಿಗೆ ಯಾರು ಸೂಚನೆ ನೀಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂಬುದು ನಮಗೆ ಗೊತ್ತಾಗುತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ" ಎಂದು ಆಕ್ರೋಶ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಿದರು.

ಮಣಿಪುರ ಹಿಂಸಾಚಾರಕ್ಕೇನು ಕಾರಣ?: ಪರಿಶಿಷ್ಟ ಪಂಗಡ (ಎಸ್‌ಟಿ)ದ ಸ್ಥಾನಮಾನ ವಿವಾದದಿಂದ ಮೈಥೇಯಿ ಮತ್ತು ಬುಡಕಟ್ಟಿನ ಕುಕಿ ಸಮುದಾಯಗಳ ನಡುವೆ ಮೇ 3ರಿಂದ ಜನಾಂಗೀಯ ಹಿಂಸಾಚಾರ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಇದುವರೆಗೆ 120ಕ್ಕೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಜನರು ಮೃತಪಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಅಂದಾಜು ಮೂರು ಸಾವಿರ ಜನರು ಗಾಯಗೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಸಾವಿರಾರು ಜನರು ಬೇರೆಡೆ ಸ್ಥಳಾಂತರಗೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಈ ಸಂಘರ್ಷದ ನಂತರ ಮೊದಲ ಬಾರಿಗೆ ರಾಹುಲ್​ ಗಾಂಧಿ ಎರಡು ದಿನಗಳ ಭೇಟಿಗಾಗಿ ಇಂಫಾಲ್‌ಗೆ ಆಗಮಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
