ಕಳೆದ ಕೆಲ ವರ್ಷಗಳಿಂದ ಅನಾರೋಗ್ಯದಿಂದ ಬಳಲುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ರಾಜ್ಯಸಭಾ ಸದಸ್ಯ ಅಮರ್​ ಸಿಂಗ್​ ಇವತ್ತು ನಿಧನರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಉತ್ತರ ಪ್ರದೇಶ: ಸಮಾಜವಾದಿ ಪಕ್ಷದ ಮಾಜಿ ಮುಖಂಡ, ರಾಜ್ಯಸಭಾ ಸಂಸದ ಅಮರ್​ ಸಿಂಗ್​ ತಮ್ಮ 64ನೇ ವಯಸ್ಸಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಧನರಾದರು. ಸಿಂಗಪುರದ​ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರು ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ಪಡೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು.

2013ರಲ್ಲಿ ಕಿಡ್ನಿ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಯಿಂದ ದುಬೈ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಗೆ ಇವರು ದಾಖಲಾಗಿದ್ದರು. ತದನಂತರ 2016ರಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಜಕೀಯಕ್ಕೆ ಮರಳಿ ಬಂದಿದ್ದ ಸಿಂಗ್, ಸ್ವತಂತ್ರ ಅಭ್ಯರ್ಥಿಯಾಗಿ ರಾಜ್ಯಸಭಾ ಸಂಸದರಾಗಿ ಆಯ್ಕೆಯಾದರು.

2020ರ ಮಾರ್ಚ್​​ನಲ್ಲಿ ಇವರು ಸಾವನ್ನಪ್ಪಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂಬ ಸುದ್ದಿ ಎಲ್ಲೆಡೆ ಹಬ್ಬಿತ್ತು. ಆ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಟೈಗರ್​​ ಅಭಿ ಜಿಂದಾ ಹೈ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದರು.
