ನವದೆಹಲಿ: ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ವಾಗ್ದಾಳಿ ನಡೆಸಿರುವ ಸೋನಿಯಾ ಗಾಂಧಿ, ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಭಿವ್ಯಕ್ತಿ ಸ್ವಾತಂತ್ರ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಬೆದರಿಕೆಯಿದೆ. ಇದರ ಜೊತೆಗೆ ಪ್ರಜಾಪ್ರಭುತ್ವ ನಾಶವಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಬೇಸರ ಹೊರಹಾಕಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಛತ್ತೀಸ್ಗಢದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೊಸದಾಗಿ ಅಸೆಂಬ್ಲಿ ಕಟ್ಟಡದ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಶಿಲಾನ್ಯಾಸ ನೆರವೇರಿಸಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ಅವರು, ಭಾರತಕ್ಕೆ ಸ್ವಾತಂತ್ರ್ಯ ಸಿಕ್ಕ 75 ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಬಳಿಕ ನಮ್ಮ ಪ್ರಜಾಪ್ರಭುತ್ವ ಮತ್ತು ಸಂವಿಧಾನಕ್ಕೆ ಬೆದರಿಕೆಯಂತಹ ಕಠಿಣ ಪರಿಸ್ಥಿತಿ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣಗೊಂಡಿದೆ. ಮಹಾತ್ಮ ಗಾಂಧಿ, ಜವಾಹರಲಾಲ್ ನೆಹರು ಮತ್ತು ಡಾ.ಬಿ.ಆರ್.ಅಂಬೇಡ್ಕರ್ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ನಮ್ಮ ಪೂರ್ವಜರು ಇಂತಹ ಪರಿಸ್ಥಿತಿಯ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಊಹಿಸಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದರು.

ಜನರು ಹೋರಾಟ ನಡೆಸಬೇಕೆಂದು ಬಯಸುವ ವೇಳೆ ಅಧಿಕಾರದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದವರು ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ದ್ವೇಷದ ವಿಷ ಹರಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಅಭಿವ್ಯಕ್ತಿ ಸ್ವಾತಂತ್ರ್ಯವು ಅಪಾಯದಲ್ಲಿದೆ. ಪ್ರಜಾಪ್ರಭುತ್ವ ನಾಶವಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಬುಡಕಟ್ಟು ಜನಾಂಗ, ಮಹಿಳೆಯರು, ಯುವಕರು ಬಾಯಿ ಮುಚ್ಚಿಕೊಂಡು ಸುಮ್ಮನಾಗುವಂತಹ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಯಿದೆ ಎಂದಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
