આશા છે કે ઓસ્ટ્રેલિયાની બુશફાયર ક્રિકેટથી આગ પીડિતોને મદદ મળશે: સચિન તેંડુલકર

રિકી પોન્ટિંગે એક ટ્વીટમાં સચીને ટેગ કરતા લખ્યું કે, 'બુશ ફાયર ક્રિકેટ' બેશમાં સચિન તેંડુલકરનું યોગદાન સારી વાત છે. જેમને આ કામ માટે પોતાનો કિંમતી સમય કાઢ્યો અને કોચિંગ માટે યોગ્ય ટીમની પસંદગી કરી છે.

મુંબઈ: ઓસ્ટ્રેલિયાના જંગલોમાં લાગેલી આગ ઓલાવવાનું નામ લેતી નથી. આ આગની ઝપેટમાં અત્યાર સુધીમાં કરોડો પશુ-પક્ષીઓ મૃત્યું પામ્યાં છે. આગની અસર ઓસ્ટ્રેલિયાના હવામાન ઉપર પણ પડી રહી છે. જેનાથી લાખો લોકો પ્રભાવિત થયા છે.

ભારતના દિગ્ગજ ક્રિકેટર સચિન તેડુલકરે કહ્યું કે, મને આશા છે ક્રિકેટ બૈશ મેચ પહેલા ઓસ્ટ્રેલિયામાં આગ પ્રભાવિત લોકોને મદદ કરશે. સચિને બુશફાયર ક્રિકેટ મેચ પેન્ટિંગને ટીમના કોચ તરીકે નિયુક્તિ કરવામાં આવી છે.

ઓસ્ટ્રેલિયાના જંગલોમાં લાગેલી આગના પીડિતોની મદદ માટે ભારતીય ટીમના મહાન પૂર્વ બેટ્સમેન સચિન તેંડુલકર પણ આગળ આવ્યાં છે. ઓસ્ટ્રેલિયામાં બુશફાયરના વિક્ટિમ્સની ચેરિટી માટે બુશફાયર ક્રિટેટ બૈશ થવા જઈ રહી છે. જેમાં માત્ર બે ટીમ હશે, એક ટીમ ઓસ્ટ્રેલિયાના પૂર્વ કેપ્ટન રિકી પોન્ટિંગની પોન્ટિંગ ઈલેવન છે, જ્યારે બીજી ટીમ તેમના જ દેશના મહાન સ્પિનર શેન વોર્નની વોર્ન ઈલેવન છે.

રિકી પોન્ટિંગે સચિનને ટ્વીટમાં ટેગ કરતા લખ્યું કે, બુશફાયર ક્રિકેટ બૈશમાં સચિન તેંડુલકરનું યોગદાન સારી વાત છે. આ કામ માટે કિંમતી સમય કાઢ્યો, કોચિંગ માટે યોગ્ય ટીમ આપી છે. સચિને પોન્ટિંગને જવાબ આપતા કહ્યું કે, બુશ ફાયર ક્રિકેટ બૈશ મેચથી ઓસ્ટ્રેલિયામાં આગ પીડિતો અને વન્યજીવોને રાહત મળશે.

ઓસ્ટ્રેલિયાના પૂર્વ દિગ્ગજ ક્રિકેટર શેન વાર્ન અને રિકી પોન્ટિંગ ચેરિટી મેચમાં સ્ટાર ટીમની કેપટનશિપ કરશે. આ ટીમમાં અન્ય ખેલાડીઓમાં એડમ ગિલક્રિસ્ટ, જસ્ટિન લૈગર, બ્રેટ લી, શેન વૉટસન, એલેક્સ બ્લૈકવેલ સહિત અન્ય ખેલાડીઓના નામની જાહેરાત આગામી 2 સપ્તાહમાં કરવામાં આવશે. આ મેચમાંથી એકત્રિત થયેલ ફંડ ઓસ્ટ્રેલિયા રેડ ક્રોસ ડિઝાસ્ટર અને રાહત બચાવ ભંડોળમાં દાન કરવામાં આવશે.
