કેરળ : એર્નાકુલમના કલામાસેરીમાં આવેલા જામરા ઇન્ટરનેશનલ કન્વેન્શન સેન્ટરમાં આજે સવારે જોરદાર વિસ્ફોટ થયો હતો. આ વિસ્ફોટમાં એક વ્યક્તિનું મોત થયું હતું જ્યારે 23 લોકો ઘાયલ થયા હતા. અકસ્માત સમયે કન્વેન્શન સેન્ટરમાં ઘણા લોકો હાજર હતા. અહીં ખ્રિસ્તીઓની પ્રાર્થના સભાનું આયોજન કરવામાં આવ્યું હતું. વિસ્ફોટ સાથે ચીસો પણ સંભળાઈ હતી. ઘાયલોને તાત્કાલિક નજીકની હોસ્પિટલમાં દાખલ કરવામાં આવ્યા હતા. વિસ્ફોટનું કારણ જાણી શકાયું નથી. વરિષ્ઠ પોલીસ અધિકારીઓ ઘટનાસ્થળે પહોંચ્યા અને તપાસ શરૂ કરી.

પ્રાર્થના સભામાં થયો વિસ્ફોટ : માહિતી અનુસાર, જામરા ઇન્ટરનેશનલ કન્વેન્શન સેન્ટરમાં ખ્રિસ્તીઓની ત્રણ દિવસીય પ્રાર્થના સભાનું આયોજન કરવામાં આવ્યું હતું. આજે સભાનો છેલ્લો દિવસ હતો. રવિવારે સવારે કન્વેન્શન સેન્ટરમાં અચાનક જોરદાર વિસ્ફોટ થયો હતો. અકસ્માત બાદ અહીં અફડાતફડી મચી ગઈ હતી. લોકો અહીં-તહીં દોડવા લાગ્યા હતા. આ અંગે પોલીસ અને એમ્બ્યુલન્સને જાણ કરવામાં આવી હતી. ઘટનાની માહિતી મળતાં જ પોલીસ અને એમ્બ્યુલન્સ ઘટનાસ્થળે પહોંચી ગઈ હતી. ઘાયલોને તાત્કાલિક નજીકની હોસ્પિટલમાં દાખલ કરવામાં આવ્યા હતા.

એકનું મોત અનેક ઇજાગ્રસ્ત : પોલીસના જણાવ્યા અનુસાર આ ઘટનામાં એક વ્યક્તિનું મોત થયું છે. તેની ઓળખ થઈ નથી. વિસ્ફોટમાં લગભગ 23 લોકો ઘાયલ થયા છે. ઘાયલોને કલામસેરી મેડિકલ કોલેજમાં દાખલ કરવામાં આવ્યા હતા. એક અંદાજ મુજબ 2300 જેટલા લોકોએ કોન્ફરન્સ માટે રજીસ્ટ્રેશન કરાવ્યું હતું. ત્રણ દિવસ પહેલા શરૂ થયેલો કાર્યક્રમ આજે સાંજ સુધીમાં સમાપ્ત થશે. રાજ્યના મુખ્યમંત્રી પિનરાઈ વિજયને આ ઘટના પર શોક વ્યક્ત કર્યો છે. ઘટના બાદ એર્નાકુલમ પોલીસના વરિષ્ઠ અધિકારીઓ ઘટનાસ્થળે પહોંચી ગયા હતા. ઘટનાની તમામ એંગલથી તપાસ કરવામાં આવી રહી છે.
