નવી દિલ્હીઃ અમેરિકામાં કેપિટલ હિલમાં થયેલી હિંસાને લઈને વડાપ્રધાન નરેન્દ્ર મોદીએ દુઃખ વ્યક્ત કર્યું હતું. વડાપ્રધાને ટ્વિટ કરીને કહ્યું કે, વોશિંગ્ટન ડીસીમાં થયેલી હિંસા વિશેના સમાચાર સાંભળીને સ્તબ્ધ થઈ ગયો છું. સત્તા ક્રમબદ્ધ અને શાંતિપૂર્ણ રીતે ચાલવી જોઈએ. વડાપ્રધાન નરેન્દ્ર મોદીએ કહ્યું કે, ગેરકાયદસર વિરોધ કરીને લોકશાહી પ્રક્રિયાને ઠેસ ન પહોંચાડી શકાય.

ટ્રમ્પના સમર્થકો હિંસક મૂડમાં કેપિટલમાં ઘૂસી આવ્યા
ઉલ્લેખનીય છે કે, અમેરિકામાં કેપિટલ પરિસરની બહાર પૂર્વ રાષ્ટ્રપતિ ડોનાલ્ડ ટ્રમ્પના સમર્થકો અને પોલીસ વચ્ચે હિંસક ઝપાઝપી થઈ હતી. ટ્રમ્પના સમર્થકો હિંસક મૂડમાં કેપિટલની અંદર ઘૂસી જતા ખૂબ જ હિંસક વાતાવરણ સર્જાયું હતું. આ હિંસક વિરોધ પ્રદર્શનને ધ્યાનમાં રાખી વ્હાઈટ હાઉસના ઉપ પ્રેસ સચિવ સારા મેથ્યુઝે ટ્રમ્પ સરકારમાંથી રાજીનામું આપી દીધું છે. જ્યારે યુએસ ફર્સ્ટ લેડી મેલેનિયા ટ્રમ્પના ચીફ ઓફ સ્ટાફ, સ્ટેફની ગ્રિશમે પણ રાજીનામું આપી દીધું છે.
