મમતા બેનર્જીએ પીએમ કેર્સ ફંડમાંથી પરપ્રાંતિય મજૂરો માટે રૂપિયા 10,000ની સહાયની માગ કરી

પશ્ચિમ બંગાળના મુખ્યપ્રધાન મમતા બેનર્જીએ તેમના ટ્વિટર એકાઉન્ટ દ્વારા કેન્દ્ર સરકારને વિનંતી કરી છે કે, તેઓ પીએમ કેર્સ ફંડમાંથી પરપ્રાંતિય કામદારોને 10,000 રૂપિયાની સહાય આપે.

કોલકાતા: પશ્ચિમ બંગાળના મુખ્યપ્રધાન મમતા બેનર્જીએ તેમના સોશિયલ મીડિયા એકાઉન્ટ ટ્વીટર દ્વારા બુધવારે કેન્દ્ર સરકારને અપીલ કરી હતી કે, પરપ્રાંતિય મજૂરો અને અન્ય શ્રમિકોને કોરોના વાઇરસની મહામારી વચ્ચે ભરણપોષણ માટે રૂપિયા 10,000ની એક વખતની આર્થિક સહાય આપવામાં આવે.

તેમણે ટ્વીટમાં જણાવ્યું, 'હું કેન્દ્રને અપીલ કરું છું કે, અસંગઠિત ક્ષેત્રના લોકો સહિત પરપ્રાંતિય મજૂરોને કોરોના વાઇરસની મહામારી વચ્ચે ભરણપોષણ માટે રૂપિયા 10,000ની એક વખતની આર્થિક સહાય આપવામાં આવે.'

દિલ્હીમાં મળેલી કેબિનેટ મિટિંગના થોડી જ મિનિટો પહેલા મમતાએ આ ટ્વીટ કર્યું હતું.

‘કોરોના વાઇરસની મહામારીને પગલે લોકોને અકલ્પનીય મુશ્કેલીઓનો સામનો કરવો પડી રહ્યો છે, તેવામાં પીએમ કેર્સ ફંડના થોડા ભાગનો આ માટે ઉપયોગ કરી શકાય છે.‘ તેમણે જણાવ્યું હતું.
