اس سلسلے میں ایران پر جنگ مسلط کرنے کے معاملہ پر امریکی ایوان نمائندگان کی امور خارجہ کمیٹی میں ڈیموکریٹس کے ممبران نے ٹرمپ انتظامیہ کے نمائندہ خصوصی برائے ایران برین ہک کو تنقید کے رڈار پر رکھا ہے۔

ڈیمو کریٹس نے پوچھا کہ کیا ٹرمپ کو بحیثیت صدر یہ اختیار ہے کہ وہ ایران پر جنگ مسلط کردیں؟ کیا نائن الیون حملوں میں ایران ملوث تھا؟

کئی چھبتے ہوئے سوالوں کا براہ راست جواب دینے سے گریز پر ڈیموکریٹس نے ایران کے لئے امریکی مندوب ہک سے پوچھا آئین بھی پڑھا ہے یا نہیں؟

واضح رہے کہ حالیہ دنوں امریکہ اور ایران کے درمیان حالات کشیدہ ہیں۔

Celebrity Trolling. : A social media menace !

In earlier times bollywood celebrities used to get fan-mails through letters where there were only praises. After the internet explosion Bollywood stars started interacting with their fans through social media platforms. Though it was considered to be a ‘blessing’ to get connected to the fans all over the world with a single message, a photo or a video. Most stars interact with their ‘followers’ on social media by sharing their work life, memories from the past or a few personal photographs.

But lately that ‘blessing’ has turned into a ‘curse’ for many celebrities. Very few fight it out but majority of them are scared to react. As fans are always eager to know about star’s personal life the ‘followers’ keeps increasing. But there are a few ‘disguised followers’ who want to create trouble. They nit-pick and troll stars on the flimsiest of the reasons. Many times a number of stars have fallen prey to online trolls for either their pictures or comments made on social media. Medicines have side-effects, so does social media. Trollers are side-effects of social media.

Last Diwali mega-star Amitabh Bachchan was trolled for bursting crackers with family with comments like ‘not cool. #pollutionfreediwali’. Parineeti Chopra and Suhana Khan were trolled for wearing body hugging tight dresses. Janhvi Kapoor was trolled for her gymming mini-shorts. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was trolled for kissing her daughter Aradhna on lips. Deepika Padukone for her cleavage and her airport looks. Malaika Arora was trolled for her yoga postures. A marathi actress Ketaki Chitale was trolled for talking in Hindi and English and was bombarded in a filthy language. Another marathi and hindi actor Priya Bapat was trolled for her lesbian love scene in one of the web series. The list is never ending. We spoke to a bunch of young people to know their take on troll.

Everyone was against trolling. ‘There’s a right to individuality. Everyone has right to do what they want. Our constitution has given freedom of expression. Who are ‘we’ to object to that’ said a young girl. Another one commented that ‘Stars are emulated by commoners. Youngster look up to them. Though there is positive impact, there’s negative impact too. Like a celebrity is going to a disco, other youngster also get an urge to do the same thing, even if he/she can’t afford it’. About freedom of expression one said ‘it’s not wrong on their part but people who follow them should perceive it in right way’.

‘They (celebrities) apparently are living their personal life and nobody has a right to interfere there’ added a girl. ‘It’s individualistic thing as far as clothing is concerned. If trolling continues then it affects the mentality of everybody. It requires changing people’s negative mentality, which is quite difficult’ came one opinion. ‘About caste, creed there’s a recent example of one of the resident doctors in a hospital committing suicide due to in-person ‘trolling’ by seniors’. ‘Social media is getting too personal which is dividing communities, people’ was the reaction of one of them. ‘It’s her comfort zone and her individual choice what she wears. She’ll decide in what clothes she is comfortable in. So no one has a right to advice her what she should wear’ pat came the reply on Janhvi Kapoor’s trolling issue.

Finally all of them want trolling to be stopped because as per them trollers should think how they would feel if they are trolled. Conclusion:
