రాజీవ్గాంధీ 75వ జయంతి వేడుకల సందర్భంగా ప్రధాని నరేంద్రమోదీపై పరోక్షంగా నిప్పులు చెరిగారు కాంగ్రెస్ అధ్యక్షురాలు సోనియాగాంధీ. 1984 లోక్‌సభ ఎన్నికల్లో రాజీవ్ గాంధీ కూడా పూర్తి మెజారిటీతో గెలిచారని, ఆయనెప్పుడూ తన అధికారాన్ని భయపెట్టేందుకు, ప్రజల స్వేచ్ఛను హరించేందుకు ఉపయోగించలేదన్నారు.

ప్రధాని నరేంద్రమోదీ, ఎన్డీయే ప్రభుత్వ పేరును ప్రస్తావించకుండా పరోక్ష విమర్శలు గుప్పించారు కాంగ్రెస్ అధ్యక్షురాలు సోనియా గాంధీ. రాజీవ్‌గాంధీ 75వ జయంతి సందర్భంగా ఏర్పాటు చేసిన సమావేశంలో ప్రసంగించిన సోనియా.. ప్రస్తుత ప్రభుత్వ విధానాలపై అసంతృప్తి వ్యక్తం చేశారు.

And I'm absolutely with him on that."

STORYLINE:
British opposition leader Jeremy Corbyn said on Thursday he will do "everything he can" to prevent the UK from leaving the EU without a deal.
That includes calling a no-confidence vote in British Prime Minister Boris Johnson's government and, if it succeeds, competing in the ensuing general election with a pledge to hold a second public vote on Brexit.
Speaking during a visit to a hill farm in Keswick, Corbyn warned of the damage that a no deal Brexit could do to jobs, services and industries - such as those in Cumbria.
"The principle is we'll do everything we can to ensure that no deal is taken off the table," he said.
His comments come as Johnson was attempting to reopen Brexit negotiations while on his European tour.
Corbyn also joined a call by French President Emmanuel Macron earlier Thursday in challenging Johnson to break the deadlock on the Irish border question.
"The question of the Irish border is fundamental to a lot of things. The Irish peace process was an enormous step forward. It's an international treaty. It's an international agreement it cannot be negotiated away," he stressed.
Johnson has vowed to leave the EU on October 31, with or without a deal aimed at softening the transition.
Corbyn has asked leaders of other political parties to attend an urgent discussion on ways to stop a no deal Brexit.
