Goransson: "Do you guys know where he is?"
Mackin: "I'm not sure where Donald is. We have been working in studio a lot lately and the last time I saw him was a couple days ago. He just walked out and I haven't seen him since. He hasn't spoken to us or anything."

COLLEAGUES SAY THEY'RE UNAWARE WHY GLOVER MISSED HISTORIC GRAMMY NIGHT
Donald Glover, who records under the name Childish Gambino, was missing in action Sunday (10 FEBRUARY 2019), and not even his colleagues could say where Glover was on the night they made Grammy Awards history.
Unlike others who skipped the ceremony on purpose, such as Ariana Grande, who had a difference of opinion with show producers about her ceremony performance, Glover had no apparent Grammy problem. And, it turns out, Grammy voters had no problem with Glover, awarding his "This is America" both song of the year and record of the year honors -- the first time ever for a release in the rap genre.
"I'm not sure where Donald is," said "This is America" engineer/mixer Riley Mackin backstage. "We have been working in studio a lot lately and the last time I saw him was a couple days ago. He just walked out and I haven't seen him since. He hasn't spoken to us or anything."
Co-producer Ludwig Goransson said he tried to call Glover after the wins, but got no answer.
When a reporter asked Mackin if Glover's unexplained absence was "strange," Mackin replied, "I think everything Donald does is a little strange."
