7. SOUNDBITE (English) Michael Eddy, District Dover Councillor for the Green Party and Deal Resident:
"I think there is a lot of panic amongst all the local authorities in this part of the world about the possibility of no deal. We have done a lot of modelling. If you end up with a two-minute delay for every truck going through the port of Dover you end up with a queue going back beyond Mainstay, which is 50 miles away. What then happens with local people wanting to go about their business, wanting to get to hospitals, wanting to get their kids to school, all of that kind of stuff? It is going to be, potentially it is going to be a nightmare."
8. Various of Donata Testa, owner of King's coffee shop, making a sandwich
9. SOUNDBITE (English) Donata Testa, owner of King's coffee shop in Deal and Deal resident:
"I am worried about no deal, because I don't know what the consequences will be for us. For people like us who have been here such a long time and the uncertainty you know whether we have the same rights or whether we don't, it is just things like that really that I'm worried. You know the NHS and going back and forth from Italy to here or whatever county, and do we need special papers? We don't know, we don't know. No deal is the worst thing."
10. Deal ice cream parlour with a sign
11. Signpost (English): "Deal memorial Bandstand"

It has been decided, the vote of a lifetime, and that is the end of the matter. So now, who knows I think it will be extended basically."
15. Wide of the high street in Deal
16. SOUNDBITE (English) Paul Edlin, Director of Music at Queen Mary University and Deal resident:
"In this town where we had almost thirty years ago 11 members of the Royal Marines school of music, and the bandsman, murdered by the IRA. To think that this area would vote to compromise the peace with Northern Ireland is shocking. I think it is a disgrace."

STORYLINE:
Deal is a small side town, near Dover, in Kent in the South-East of England.
Sixty two percent of those who voted in Kent in the 2016 referendum opted for the option to leave the EU.
Michael Eddy, a District Dover Councillor for the Green Party and Deal resident, says he voted for the UK to remain a member of the EU in 2016.
He says he lived in Spain before and after the country joined the EU and could see how Spain improved as a result of its EU membership.
The 66-year-old says a no deal Brexit scenario would be detrimental to the residents of Deal.
Those who live in this seaside town would especially be affected by the traffic of lorries in Dover stuck in mile-long queues, which could be a consequence of Brexit if a deal with the EU is not struck.
"If you end up with a two-minute delay for every truck going through the port of Dover you end up with a queue going back beyond Mainstay, which is 50 miles away," says Eddy.
Donata Testa is an Italian citizen who has lived in the United Kingdom for 39 years.
She bought the King's coffee shop in the centre of Deal 15 years ago.
Testa says the uncertainty of the last two years brought on by Brexit has been difficult to cope with and she is worried about the potential consequences a no deal scenario would hold for her and other Europeans like her who have made the UK their home.
Tom Mitchell, Night Porter at Canterbury Hotel and Deal resident, wants Brexit to be over with and hopes that a deal will be reached and despite voting remain he is now committed to the UK leaving the EU.
Paul Edlin, Director of Music at Queen Mary University, says he is angry about Brexit and cannot believe people in hometown, Deal, vote to leave the European Union.
He is particularly concerned about the potential impact of Brexit on the Good Friday agreement and what will happen with the border between Ireland, which is in the European Union, and Northern Ireland, which is part of the United Kingdom and will leave the EU along with the rest of the UK.
"In this town where we had almost thirty years ago 11 members of the Royal Marines school of music, and the bandsman, murdered by the IRA. To think that this area would vote to compromise the peace with Northern Ireland is shocking. I think it is a disgrace."
Bill Gardener who is the former Mayor of Deal and voted to remain as part of the EU in 2016 says major traffic pile-ups in Dover is the biggest concern when it comes to a no deal scenario.
The British Parliament will vote Wednesday on whether to leave the European Union without a deal March 29 after lawmakers on Tuesday voted down Prime Minister Theresa May's EU divorce agreement.
