கிரிக்கெட் வீரர் தோனி சர்வதேச கிரிக்கெட் போட்டிகளில் இருந்து விலகியதை அடுத்து, நடிகர் சிவகார்த்திகேயன் தனது வாழ்த்தைப் பதிவு செய்தார். இதையடுத்து இயக்குநர் சீனு ராமசாமி சிவகார்த்திகேயனையும் தோனியையும் ஒப்பீடு செய்துள்ளார்.

இந்திய கிரிக்கெட் வீரர் தோனி சர்வதேச கிரிக்கெட்டில் இருந்து தனது ஓய்வை நேற்று (ஆகஸ்ட் 15) அறிவித்தார். உலகளவில் பல ரசிகர்களைக் கொண்ட தோனிக்கு, தமிழ் சினிமா நடிகர்களும் ரசிகர்களாய் இருக்கின்றனர்.
