அமெரிக்காவின் வடக்கு கரோலினா மாகாணத்தைச் சேர்ந்த ஒரு குடும்பத்தினர் ஜெர்மன் ஷெபர்டு நாய் ஒன்றை வளர்த்துவருகின்றனர். இந்த நாய் சமீபத்தில் எட்டு குட்டிகளை ஈன்றெடுத்துள்ளது.
தாய் நாய் வெளிர் பழுப்பு நிறத்தில் இருக்க அது ஈன்ற பல குட்டிகளும் கறுப்பு, வெளிர் பழுப்பு நிறத்திலும் ஒரே ஒரு நாய்க்குட்டி மட்டும் முற்றிலும் வித்தியாசமாக மஞ்சள் கலந்த பச்சை நிறத்தில் பிறந்து அனைவரையும் வியப்பில் ஆழ்த்தியுள்ளது.
இந்தக் குட்டிக்கு அதன் உரிமையாளர் ஹல்க் எனப் பெயரிட்டுள்ளார். பச்சை நிறத்தில் பிறந்துள்ள நாய்க்குட்டியைக் காண பலரும் வருகைதந்து வியந்து பார்த்துச் செல்கின்றனர்.
