ஸ்டேன் சுவாமியின் மறைவு - அரசியல் தலைவர்கள், பிரமுகர்கள் இரங்கல்

பழங்குடியின சமூக செயற்பாட்டாளர் தந்தை ஸ்டேன் சுவாமியின் மறைவு குறித்து பிரபல அரசியல் தலைவர்கள் இரங்கலைப் பதிவு செய்துள்ளனர்.

ஜார்க்கண்ட் மாநிலத்தில் பழங்குடியின மற்றும் ஏழை மக்களின் நலன்களுக்காக கடந்த 50 ஆண்டுகளுக்கும் மேலாகப் போராடி வந்த சமூக ஆர்வலர் ஸ்டேன் சுவாமி, மும்பையில் உடல் நலக்குறைவினால் காலமானார். அவருக்கு வயது 84.

அவரது இறப்புக்குப் பல்வேறு அரசியல் கட்சித்தலைவர்களும் சமூக ஆர்வலர்களும் இரங்கல் தெரிவித்து வருகின்றனர்.

இந்நிலையில் காங்கிரஸ் கட்சியின் மக்களவை உறுப்பினர் ராகுல் காந்தி கூறுகையில், 'பாதிரியார் ஸ்டேன் சுவாமி மறைவுக்கு இதயப்பூர்வமான இரங்கலைத் தெரிவித்துக்கொள்கிறேன். அவர் நீதி மற்றும் மனிதாபிமானத்திற்கு உரியவர்’ என்றார்.

ஸ்டேன் சுவாமியின் இறப்பு குறித்து சமூகச் செயற்பாட்டாளரும் குஜராத் மாநில எம்.எல்.ஏ.-வுமான ஜிக்னேஷ் மேவானி கூறுகையில், 'தந்தை ஸ்டேன் சுவாமி ஒருபோதும் இறப்பதில்லை. அவர் நமது இதயங்களில் எப்போதும் கதாநாயகனாக இருப்பார். வாழ்வில் அவர் பாசிச மோடி அரசாங்கத்திற்கு எதிராக நின்ற துணிச்சலான எதிர்ப்பாளர்.

ஸ்டேன் சுவாமியின் இறப்பு குறித்து காங்கிரஸ் மக்களவை உறுப்பினர் சசி தரூர் கூறுகையில், 'தந்தை ஸ்டேன் சுவாமியின் இறப்பு வருத்தமளிக்கிறது. மனித மாண்பாளராகவும் மனிதக்கடவுளாகவும் திகழ்ந்த அவரை ஒன்றிய அரசு மனிதநேயத்துடன் நடத்தவில்லை.
