கரோனா வைரஸ் (தீநுண்மி) பாதிப்பால் இந்தியப் பொருளாதாரம் கடும் சரிவை சந்தித்துவரும் சூழலில், பிரதமர் நரேந்திர மோடி 20 லட்சம் கோடி ரூபாய் வளர்ச்சி நிதியை அறிவித்தார்.
இந்தத் தொகையைப் பயன்படுத்த பல்வேறு திட்டங்களை மத்திய நிதியமைச்சர் நிர்மலா சீதாராமன், ரிசர்வ் வங்கி ஆளுநர் சக்திகாந்த தாஸ் அறிவித்தனர்.
இதில் ஒரு பெரும்தொகை சிறு, குறு நிறுவனங்களின் வளர்ச்சிக்கு ஒதுக்கப்பட்டது. அந்த வகையில் நிதியமைச்சர் நிர்மலா சீதாராமன் தனது ட்விட்டர் பக்கத்தில், “சிறு, குறு நிறுவனங்களுக்கு நேற்று ஒரேநாளில் பொதுத் துறை வங்கிகள் மூலம் 3,200 கோடி ரூபாய் வழங்கப்பட்டது” எனத் தெரிவித்துள்ளார்.
