ਨਵੀਂ ਦਿੱਲੀ: ਵੈਸਟਇੰਡੀਜ਼ ਕ੍ਰਿਕਟ ਬੋਰਡ (West Indies Cricket Board) ਲਈ ਦੋਹਰੀ ਬੁਰੀ ਖ਼ਬਰ ਆਈ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਖਬਰ ਨਾਲ ਵੈਸਟਇੰਡੀਜ਼ ਕ੍ਰਿਕਟ 'ਚ ਸੋਗ ਦੀ ਲਹਿਰ ਫੈਲ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਦਰਅਸਲ, ਵੈਸਟਇੰਡੀਜ਼ ਦੇ ਸਾਬਕਾ ਆਫ ਸਪਿਨਰ ਗੇਂਦਬਾਜ਼ ਕਲਾਈਡ ਬੱਟਸ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਬਕਾ ਬੱਲੇਬਾਜ਼ ਜੋ ਸੋਲੋਮਨ ਦਾ ਦੇਹਾਂਤ (Former batsman Joe Solomon passes away) ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਉਦੋਂ ਤੋਂ ਵੈਸਟਇੰਡੀਜ਼ ਕ੍ਰਿਕਟ ਪੂਰੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਸੋਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਡੁੱਬੀ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ। ਬੱਟਸ ਨੇ 66 ਸਾਲ ਦੀ ਉਮਰ 'ਚ ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਲਵਿਦਾ ਕਹਿ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ। ਉਸ ਦੀ ਇੱਕ ਕਾਰ ਹਾਦਸੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੌਤ ਹੋ ਗਈ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਦਾ ਆਖਰੀ ਅੰਤਰਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਮੈਚ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਕਟ ਟੀਮ ਦੇ ਖਿਲਾਫ ਖੇਡਿਆ। ਇਸ ਲਈ 1960 ਦੇ ਮਸ਼ਹੂਰ ਗਾਬਾ ਟੈਸਟ ਲਈ ਜਾਣੇ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਜੋ ਸੋਲੋਮਨ ਦਾ 93 ਸਾਲ ਦੀ ਉਮਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਿਹਾਂਤ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।
