ਜੈਸ਼ੰਕਰ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਇਟਲੀ ਯਾਤਰਾ ਦੇ ਪਹਿਲੇ ਦਿਨ ਸੈਨੇਟਰ ਰੌਬਰਟਾ ਪਿਨੋਟੀ ਨਾਲ ਮੁਲਾਕਾਤ ਕੀਤੀ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਇਜ਼ਰਾਈਲ ਦੇ ਹਮਰੁਤਬਾ ਇਜ਼ਰਾਈਲ ਕਾਰਟਜ਼ ਨਾਲ ਵੀ ਮੁਲਾਕਾਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਖੇਤਰੀ ਮਸਲਿਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਦੁਵੱਲੇ ਸਹਿਯੋਗ 'ਤੇ ਲਾਭਕਾਰੀ ਗੱਲਬਾਤ ਤੇ ਵਿਚਾਰ ਵਟਾਂਦਰੇ ਕੀਤੇ।
