ਸ਼ਾਹ ਨੇ ਟਵੀਟ ਕੀਤਾ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਬਿੱਲ ਦੇ ਤਹਿਤ ਖੇਤਰੀ ਭਾਸ਼ਾਵਾਂ ਜਿਵੇਂ “ਗੋਜਰੀ”, “ਪਹਾੜੀ” ਤੇ “ਪੰਜਾਬੀ” ਦੇ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਲਈ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਯਤਨ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾਣਗੇ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਟਵੀਟ ਕੀਤਾ, “ਜੰਮੂ ਕਸ਼ਮੀਰ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਲਈ ਅੱਜ ਮਹੱਤਵਪੂਰਣ ਦਿਨ ਹੈ, ਜਦੋਂ ਲੋਕ ਸਭਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਜੰਮੂ-ਕਸ਼ਮੀਰ ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਭਾਸ਼ਾ (ਸੋਧ) ਬਿੱਲ ਪਾਸ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਇਤਿਹਾਸਕ ਬਿੱਲ ਨਾਲ... ਜੰਮੂ-ਕਸ਼ਮੀਰ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦਾ ਬਹੁ-ਇੰਤਜ਼ਾਰ ਸੁਪਨਾ ਸਾਕਾਰ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ।”

ਗ੍ਰਹਿ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਹੁਣ ਕਸ਼ਮੀਰੀ, ਡੋਗਰੀ, ਉਰਦੂ, ਹਿੰਦੀ ਅਤੇ ਅੰਗਰੇਜ਼ੀ ਜੰਮੂ-ਕਸ਼ਮੀਰ ਦੀਆਂ ਅਧਿਕਾਰਤ ਭਾਸ਼ਾਵਾਂ ਹੋਣਗੀਆਂ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ, ”ਇਸ ਬਿੱਲ ਦੇ ਤਹਿਤ,“ “ਗੋਜਰੀ”, “ਪਹਾੜੀ” ਅਤੇ “ਪੰਜਾਬੀ” ਪ੍ਰਮੁੱਖ ਖੇਤਰੀ ਭਾਸ਼ਾਵਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਵੱਲ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਯਤਨ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾਣਗੇ।
ਬਿੱਲ ਲਈ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨਰਿੰਦਰ ਮੋਦੀ ਦਾ ਧੰਨਵਾਦ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਟਵੀਟ ਕੀਤਾ, "ਮੈਂ ਇਸ ਬਿੱਲ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਜੰਮੂ-ਕਸ਼ਮੀਰ ਦੀ ਸੰਸਕ੍ਰਿਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਅਤ ਰੱਖਣ ਲਈ ਵਚਨਬੱਧਤਾ ਲਈ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਦਾ ਧੰਨਵਾਦ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ। "ਮੈਂ ਜੰਮੂ-ਕਸ਼ਮੀਰ ਦੀਆਂ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਭੈਣਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਭਰਾਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਭਰੋਸਾ ਦਿਵਾਉਣਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਮੋਦੀ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਜੰਮੂ-ਕਸ਼ਮੀਰ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਵਾਪਸ ਲਿਆਉਣ ਵਿਚ ਕੋਈ ਕਸਰ ਬਾਕੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਛੱਡੇਗੀ।''
