ବ୍ରହ୍ମପୁର: 2019 ନିର୍ବାଚନରେ ଗଞ୍ଜାମ ଦିଗପହଣ୍ଡିରେ ଦେଖିବାକୁ ମିଳିବ ତ୍ରିକୋଣୀୟ ମୁକାବିଲା। ଶାସକ ବିଜେଡି, ବିରୋଧି ବିଜେପି ଏବଂ କଂଗ୍ରେସ ଗୋଟିଏ ନିର୍ବାଚନ ମଣ୍ଡଳୀରେ ପୃଥକ ପୃଥକ ଭାବେ ଲଢିବେ। ଚଳିତ ଥର ଦିଗପହଣ୍ଡି ନିର୍ବାଚନ ମଣ୍ଡଳୀରେ ରାଜ୍ୟ ଖାଦ୍ୟ ଯୋଗାଣ ମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ସୂର୍ଯ୍ୟ ନାରାୟଣ ପାତ୍ରଙ୍କ ସହ ବିଜେପି ଦଳର ପିଙ୍କି ପ୍ରଧାନ ଏବଂ କଂଗ୍ରେସର ପ୍ରଫୁଲ ପଣ୍ଡା ନିର୍ବାଚନୀ ମଇଦାନକୁ ଓହ୍ଲାଇଛନ୍ତି।

ତେବେ ବିଜେପି ଦଳରୁ ଅଭିନେତ୍ରୀ ପିଙ୍କିଙ୍କୁ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥୀ କରାଯାଇଥିବା ବେଳେ ପିଙ୍କି ଗଞ୍ଜାମ ଜିଲ୍ଲା ଦିଗପହଣ୍ଡି ଅଞ୍ଚଳର ବୋହୂ। ସେହିପରି କଂଗ୍ରେସ ଦଳରୁ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥୀ ହୋଇଥିବା ପ୍ରଫୁଲ ପଣ୍ଡା ସ୍ଥାନୀୟ ଅଞ୍ଚଳର ବାସିନ୍ଦା। ଯାହାକୁ ନେଇ ଚଳିତ ନିର୍ବାଚନ ବେଶ ରୋମାଞ୍ଚକ ହେବାକୁ ଯାଉଛି। ଅପରପକ୍ଷେ 2 ଦଳ ଆଶାୟୀ ହୋଇଥିବା ବେଳେ ବିଜେପି ଦଳରୁ ଆଶାୟୀ ରହିଥିବା ପ୍ରାର୍ଥୀ ଉତ୍ତମ ପାଣିଗ୍ରାହୀ ସ୍ୱାଧିନ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥୀ ଭାବରେ ନିର୍ବାଚନ ଲଢିବା ପାଇଁ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥୀପତ୍ର ଦାଖଲ କରିଛନ୍ତି।

1. Explosion lights up the sky with ball of flames after Israeli air strike on the office of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh, AUDIO: explosion
STORYLINE:
Israeli forces on Monday struck targets across the Gaza Strip, including the offices of Hamas' supreme leader, in response to a surprise rocket attack from the Palestinian territory.
Ahead of the Israeli airstrikes, Hamas' leadership went into hiding.
The Israeli military issued a statement confirming it bombed the building housing Haniyeh's office, which had "served as an office for many military meetings."
An earlier blast destroyed a multistory building in Gaza City that Israel said had served as a Hamas military intelligence headquarters.
There were no immediate reports of casualties.
In both blasts, Israel fired warning shots to evacuate the buildings.
But the airstrike on the multistory building was so powerful it sent debris flying onto the roof of The Associated Press bureau, located on the 11th floor of a nearby high-rise.
The sudden conflagration came at a time when both Netanyahu and his Hamas foes are in desperate situations.
Netanyahu is in a tight race for re-election, and just two weeks before the April 9 vote, faces tough criticism from challengers who accuse him of being too soft on Hamas.
Hamas is facing perhaps its toughest domestic test since seizing control of Gaza from the rival Palestinian Authority 12 years ago.
