ନୂଆଦିଲ୍ଲୀ: ଭାରତୀୟ ଔଷଧ କମ୍ପାନୀ ଦ୍ବାରା ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ ୪ଟି କଫ୍ ସିରପକୁ ନେଇ ଚେତାବନୀ ଜାରି କରିଛି ବିଶ୍ବ ସ୍ବାସ୍ଥ୍ୟ ସଂଗଠନ । ତା ସହିତ ଏହି ସବୁ ମେଡିସିନ୍କୁ ନେଇ ଏକ ତଦନ୍ତ ଆରମ୍ଭ କରିଛି ବିଶ୍ବ ସ୍ବାସ୍ଥ୍ୟ ସଂଗଠନ । ପଶ୍ଚିମ ଆଫ୍ରିକୀୟ ଦେଶ ଗାମ୍ବିଆରେ ବର୍ତ୍ତମାନ କିଛି ଦିନ ହେଲା ଅପ୍ରତ୍ୟାଶିତ ଭାବରେ ଶିଶୁମୃତ୍ୟୁ ବଢ଼ିବାରେ ଲାଗିଛି । ତେବେ ଭାରତୀୟ କମ୍ପାନୀ ଦ୍ବାରା ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ କଫ୍ ସିରପ ଯୋଗୁଁ ଏହିସବୁ ମୃତ୍ୟୁ ହେଉଥିବା ସନ୍ଦେହ କରାଯାଉଛି ।

ଏହାକୁ ନେଇ ବିଶ୍ବ ସ୍ବାସ୍ଥ୍ୟ ସଂଗଠନ ଟ୍ବିଟ୍ କରି କହିଛି, "କିଡନୀରେ ସମସ୍ୟା ଯୋଗୁଁ ଗାମ୍ବିଆରେ ଶିଶୁ ମୃତ୍ୟୁ ହେଉଛି । ଗାମ୍ବିଆରେ ବର୍ତ୍ତମାନ ୬୬ଟି ଶିଶୁଙ୍କ କିଡନୀ ସମସ୍ୟା ଯୋଗୁଁ ମୃତ୍ୟୁ ହୋଇଛି । କୌଣସି ଅପମିଶ୍ରିତ ଅସନ୍ତୁଳିତ ଔଷଧ ସେବନ ଏହାର କାରଣ ହୋଇପାରେ । ଭାରତୀୟ ଔଷଧ କମ୍ପାନୀ ଦ୍ବାରା ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ ୪ଟି କଫ୍ ସିରପ୍ରେ ବିଭିନ୍ନ ମାତ୍ରା ଅସନ୍ତୁଳନ ରହିଥିବା ନେଇ ବିଶ୍ବ ସ୍ବାସ୍ଥ୍ୟ ସଂଗଠନ ତଦନ୍ତ ଆରମ୍ଭ କରିଛି । ସମ୍ପୃକ୍ତ କମ୍ପାନୀ ଓ ଭାରତୀୟ ନିୟାମକ କର୍ତ୍ତୃପକ୍ଷଙ୍କ ଏଥିରେ ସହଯୋଗ କରୁଛନ୍ତି ।"
୪ଟି କଫ୍ ସିରପର ନମୂନା ନିଆଯାଇ ପ୍ରଥମେ ଲାବରେଟାରୀ ଯାଞ୍ଚ କରାଯାଇଛି । ଏହାପରେ ଏଥିରେ ଅପମିଶ୍ରିତ ଡାଏଥାଇଲନ୍ ଗ୍ଲାଇକଲ୍ ଏବଂ ଇଥାଇଲନ୍ ଗ୍ଲାଇକଲ୍ ରହିଥିବା ଜଣା ପଡ଼ିଛି । ଏହା ସ୍ବାସ୍ଥ୍ୟ ପ୍ରତି ଆଦୌ ହିତକାରକ ନୁହେଁ । ଏହାପରେ ବିଶ୍ବା ସ୍ବାସ୍ଥ୍ୟ ସଂଗଠନ ପକ୍ଷରୁ ଚେତାବନୀ ଜାରି କରାଯାଇଛି । ଗାମ୍ବିଆରେ ଯେଉଁ ଔଷଧ ବ୍ୟବହାର ହେଉଥିଲା । ତାହା ବାହାର ଦେଶରେ ମଧ୍ୟ ବିତରଣ ହୋଇପାରେ । ଏଣୁ ଏହାକୁ ନେଇ ଚେତାବନୀ ଜାରି କରାଯାଇଛି ।
