ପ୍ରେସ ଦିବସ ଅବସରରେ ଶୁଭେଚ୍ଛା ଜଣାଇ ଶାହ ଟୁଇଟ କରି କହିଛନ୍ତି ଯେ "ଆମର ଗଣମାଧ୍ୟମ ଭ୍ରାତୃଭାବ ଆମ ମହାନ ଦେଶର ମୂଳଦୁଆକୁ ସୁଦୃଢ କରିବାରେ ଏକ ବଳିଷ୍ଠ ଭୂମିକା ସହ ନିରନ୍ତର ଭାବେ କାମ କରିଆସୁଛି । ତେଣୁ ଗଣମାଧ୍ୟମର ସୁରକ୍ଷା ଓ ସ୍ବଧୀନତା ପାଇ ମୋଦି ସରକାର ପ୍ରତିଶୃତିବଦ୍ଧ ।
ସାରା ବିଶ୍ବରେ ଜାରି ରହିଥିବା କରୋନା ମହାମାରୀ ବିରୋଧରେ ଚାଲିଥିବା ଯୁଦ୍ଧରେ ମଧ୍ୟ ଗଣମାଧ୍ୟମର ଉଦ୍ୟମକୁ ଗୃହମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ପ୍ରଶଂସା କରିବା ସହ ଏହା ଏକ ଉଲ୍ଲେଖନୀୟ ଭୂମିକା ଗ୍ରହଣ କରିଥିବା ଉଲ୍ଲେଖ କରିଛନ୍ତି । 1966 ମସିହାରେ ଏହି ଦିନ ପ୍ରେସ କାଉନସିଲ ଅଫ ଇଣ୍ଡିଆ ପ୍ରତିଷ୍ଠା ହେବା ପରଠାରୁ ନଭେମ୍ବର 16କୁ ଜାତୀୟ ପ୍ରେସ ଦିବସ ଭାବେ ପାଳନ କରାଯାଏ ।
